Lol I gate that when ur open all the time and they ignore u and u get a three in the key or sowmthugn g waiting for he pass or they throw it right when u leave so u don't get called or they throw it late on cuts because they to busy doing dribble moves to pass

I'd say we're even more hindered now because of the auto-hesitation that for a reason only god knows was put back into the game. However if this is what it took to take out the game-killing cheese moves then I'm okay with that, hopefully it will be balanced more effectively in 2K17

Finally got a chance to play with the new patch and im not a fan at all of the change to the little explosiveness that did exist in 2k. I have always felt like a certain degree of athleticism has been missing from the game and the what bit thats present is held back by the overly physical on-ball defense and the cpu's ability to speed in front of you after being beaten. Even with that being the case I could occasionally make users pay for playing too close without being bumped thanks to the size-ups

Right now i feel like im trying to attack the rack with a high-schooler. Its not impossible, but unbelievably un-athletic. There is little to no snap to the movement out of size-ups and its simply feels neutered.

Contrary to what many will have you believe, its not unrealistic to be able to easily get a step on a defender.

I agree...it's like the speed boosting teacher guy said....if you had a pretty good handle on dribble moves already, you'll be fine....a lot of those moves remain effective...you just have to know when to utilize them...

If speed boosting and variations of it were your only means of beating defenders, you'll have it rough...

I don't know about you guys, but looking at the vids posted here there's no athleticism at all.

Why should you be afraid of a Westbrook or a John Wall if he can't explode out of his hesitations and get step-and-a-half on you? If you look at their highlights, they don't actually have great handles, they just need that split second where the defense freeze reading the move and they're already a step ahead.

Westbrook in the new vids looks just like Kyle Korver while driving, he's that slow to the hoop.

This patch ruin the game for people who actually knew how to dribble and enjoy the Iso moves. Now it's no explosive move out a dribble and you really now got to cheese just to get some kind of speed out a move, just don't make no sense to ruin a game at the end of the span of it.

Speed boost of the dribble never made sense because it was faster than the player sprinting without a ball. Issue of not being able to create space with athletic/good ball handler player is too fast defense recover animations and "magnetic" feel of defender.
