The only people complaining are the ones who prefer "arcade" style basketball. I haven't had a chance to check out the game post-patch, but if the game is more "sim" style basketball, I'm going to love the new path.

I really don't get the complaints...it fixed an exploit, it didn't take away bursts of speed alltogether.....this is a bad thing? Game feels a lot better online and offline imo

I mean, at least play first....everyone has a 'Bah 2k' speech prepared without even experiencing the changes....if you aren't feeling it after that, then that's fair....

No compression pants again is really disappointing, not only that, the fact you can't pair socks with any other long leg wear. Even last year you could use ankle wraps with leg wear to create the look for your player that you wanted, but they've taken that out this year.

I was about to say..I thought the game wasn't explosive ENOUGH.

One of my biggest gripes was the lack of explosiveness from players. It takes too long to execute what you want to do sometimes and is just flat out boring sometimes when you do the softest take or slowest step back possible.. Only time you ever get explosion from our world class athletes, is when it's a canned animation..

Game just getting muddier so the grandpa minded developers can try to 'be sim'

There's a point it gets less sim when players are worse in the video game then real life..

You can still speed burst when you properly blow by someone with the correct moves. Pre-patch you can initiate that speed burst just dribbling which exploits the defense.

Are you watching the same basketball I'm watching?



Klay in this highlight is much, much faster compared to that video. In fact, the whole game, the player movement is much faster than in that video.

And Klay and Tim Hardawary Jr have similar ratings for speed/quickness/acceleration/ball handling in 2K16 AFAIK.
