It's called marketing man every company uses it, plus you have to remember that just because marketing is targeting the people who aren't sim fans first, doesn't mean the developers have to.

Marketing 101 needs to reach at least 6 million customers.

One thing I found in searching for that cleat picture as well is that I hope they continue to improve the lighting and colors. The two most memorable screenshots from Madden for me are these:

No doubt that Madden is currently a beautiful game. But I think it lacks that extra something and consistency in all scenarios. The Blacks aren't dark enough, the whites aren't bright enough and the colors just don't pop enough IMO.

This is from M15 and the time of day is different so it's not a perfect example but:

But here's a couple more screenshots from M12 that look great color wise:

Probably getting my hopes up, but man that kinda sounds like either a new game mode, or maybe even an expansion team thing.

I'm tempering my curiosity by saying now it is probably neither.

They need to improve the audio quality or up the audio volume, since the audio was pretty low on the Xbox One version of Madden NFL 16, and my TV was at 10 on the volume meter

Highly likely it's just placement holder info with no real connection. But the first thing I thought of when I read "the thrill of managing your own football team and the power to destroy your opposition" was some kind of MUT mode where if you beating someone you get there cards or they lose them type thing lol.

I don't see how hard it is to match game broadcast to Live broadcast. All this fluff means nothing if it's not "Real" or feels "real"

I know man, it's mad frustrating. I hate that the other AAA sports games get real broadcast and Madden has to get fake & funny style presentation. But somebody put me D that because they hired some cats just for presentation they have to do something new every year to justify them. From a business angle I can understand that, but as a gamer I'm not feeling it.
