MLB The Show 16 Patch 1.04 Available Now, Here Are The Details

If anyone needed information on the following

Player Lock and RTTS: Game still skips to your first appearance! Looks like the Game Watch toggle option is as much as we are going to get when it comes to watching a full game.

Energy and Stamina Indicators: These have been made larger on the pitcher select and line up screens. Slightly improved but still looks a bit awkward to me.

R2 to Dive: Still listed in the help menu but does not function when you press it using player lock or RTTS. R1 button only works. Turning on or off the one dive/jump button has no affect.

ShowTime Off Fielding: I was just about to say this was fixed and on the 5th game! Well you know what happened!

ShowTime Off Running: Still happens when you lead off!


Organic Defense:
Need to test more games with the game watch option selected to see if defensive plays can develop more organic this year as in previous versions of the game. Knowing the ball is coming right to you at short stop is like setting the 3pt slider to 100 for everyone in NBA 2k16 including Centers!

Trying to be patient and hold out for one more patch! I would hate to walk away from the series especially because there was so much potential to be a solid baseball game!

Pitch speeds are all messed up as well as swing analysis after a pitch now too!

I really wanna love this game but my god starting to feel like 8 wasted my $60.

If the game is going to be this bug-ridden going forward, the are going to have to have some kind of small closed beta/testing period before launch, because this is unacceptable. In previous years there would be 1 or 2 annoying bugs you would see consistently, that wouldn't get fixed. But this year I am seeing tons of glitches and bugs, and finding new ones every single time I play.

It looks like the year to year franchise issues didn't get fixed, I guess I'll keep plugging away on 15.

This patch broke base running for me. I use classic base running and now I can't control individual runners to go to specific bases. Examples I can no longer press X and up on the D-Pad to go to 2nd, the runner just runs to first and stops, or if I want the first base runner to go to 3rd he'll just stop at 2nd.
