It's got a very arcadey look. It's almost as if this kind of presentation was catered for the MUT players.

This would be ok for playoffs, but seeing this throughout the season will be tiresome and redundant. People will rapidly press X to cut through the scenes, basically rendering it useless.

Just try to match presentation that you see on Monday Night football or something of that nature. Majority of us want true broadcast presentation, not some generic arcadey ones.

As other in the thread before said it looks like cbs, it actually looks a lot more like fox or nbc to me. Maybe a new commentary team this year?

I think it's either pregame or for bigger games like the Playoffs, we'll know soon enough, I would expect a features announcement of some sort between now and June.

Yeah, and it doesn't make it more important than gameplay, game modes, etc. It really should be on the back-burner while major facets of the game are honed, re-worked, and perfected.

I don't think anyone here would say art or presentation is more important than gameplay overall, but as it was stated, gameplay is constantly evolving, things like equipment once updated is pretty much a non issue.

Exactly. Plus, at what point will we all realize that the "gameplay first" thing doesn't stand up against 2 generations of these things being neglected? How many more generations will the "gameplay first" angle be the acceptable end-all answer to this problem? How many years and generations do they need?

At some point, shouldn't we realize we're on a never-ending carousel with that angle? I'm pretty sure that in 11 seasons there had to be time some place to get these things done, but they've made all kinds of other things a priority. The fact that MUT gets updates months after the NFL season is over is one of those indicators that nobody pays attention to, but it's a clue into where their priorities stand.

No updates to presentation during the season, but updates to Draft Champions and not just updates but whole new modes. No updates to glaring graphical issues, but whole new modes and features in MUT. They're showing us what their true focus is right there.

I felt like the improved lighting for night and indoor games was a pretty substantial graphical improvement last year. They also did a lot of little things like add proper gear for fans and sideline personnel and added females finally, NFL shop gear and towels, all little things, but they add up.

Re: An Early Look at Madden NFL 17 Presentation

Is it shocking for anyone that MUT is the most used mode by customers?

From Clint on Twitter: It's the most played Madden game mode ever.(talking about MUT)
