I think it is you're right but it looks like he's with a group of guys and it looks like they're by the tunnel. I still think it's part of a pregame presentation, also the secondary would be behind the LBs if this was during a game.

I disagree that it's pre-game introductions. My guess is that it starts with a group and then does a quick camera transition zooming either forward or backwards to the next group. It's impossible to know but just based off the screenshot with the playclock at :26, it definitely seems like the its the unit intro after a few plays and something either replacing or in addition to that.

With a little bit of tweaking this could be great for the playoffs and primetime games. I think they should definitely not have them doing those celebrations though. It's bad enough we have to see guys shooting arrows and doing the bernie after nearly every tackle or first down, we don't need them doing it in player intros too. Stick to the arms folded or something simple. It's going to look really bad IMO if every intro players are dabbing and doing the whip and nay nay.

Meh. I basically come here out of habit these days. I skipped 16 except for some brief time over a free weekend. I'm already planning on skipping 17. The screenshot looks exaggerated, and given EA record we will see this same shot, with the same players doing the same poses every game with every team to the point it'll feel old after a couple games.

I love football. I love video games. I just do not like madden.

16 was a good game, 17 will be the next step towards simulation, but I don't think we're at the point where people will drop their jaws....yet
