Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions

The minimum you can weigh in at Bantamweight is 126 pounds. You shouldn't be able to make a 101lb fighter.

Ultimate Team is P2W (Pay to Win). I've been used to it for years because it has been in FIFA for years now. If you don't want to buy packs, don't expect to be summiting the leaderboard any time soon. That's just the way it is.

The good thing about this version is that there is a variety of options. Get your wallet out or stick to another mode.

126 sounds right. I pick 117 because its the average mean between the 101 and 135 that they give you. So the question is, when my created opponent is 101lb, are they unrealistically lighter -thus faster than me?

Wait, can I buy coins with actual money? I looked for that and couldn't find it. I know you can buy UFC Point with money. I paid $4.99 for 500 Points. Which seemed to be reasonable and good enough so far. The points stay with you. They don't disappear like coins.

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions

Well, realistically everyone should be 135 since virtually every fighter that isn't a heavyweight cuts at least some weight to make the weight limit. A 117lb fighter woudn't be allowed to fight at Bantamweight. He would be allowed to fight at Flyweight, but he would be undersized.

I honestly have no idea whether the weight makes you faster or not.

Ultimate Team is a tried and tested EA cash generator. You can't buy coins, but you can buy points which you use to buy packs. What do you mean the points stay with you? If that's the case then why don't you just use them over and over to buy packs?

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions

The weight doesn't make a difference. It is just there so you can make a strawweight or a bantamweight. They only have a certain number of divisions, so letting you change the weight means you can still consider your fighter a different division. It is basically like the combined weightclasses. Only there is no difference in stat caps. It is all purely aesthetic.

What women in MMA do you see making 135 with a Roy Nelson gut?

True, but it would still be fun to see. I really wish they would make everything proportionate though. You go taller, the amount of body types decreases. You go shorter, the amount of body types decreases. You go fatter, the less stamina you can build. You go slimmer, the more stamina your fighter can have. However, adding in stat caps for other things like body for instance on slim bodies would have a lower cap. Etc. Things like this would make the CAFs more true to life. Would actually have consequences for picking the tallest fighter, etc. There needs to be something in place so you can't fight what looks like a heavyweight in lightweight.
