-Avoid trading rookies and valuable picks.

-fire Scott around the first week of April. There's usually a really good coach available to hire. I hired Dave J from Memphis. Avoid trying to sign a coach in off season because it's damn near impossible to get a good one

-Now in off season, hopefully the lottery balls fall your way. I got 1 2 and 5 I think.

-trade those three picks for Cousins.

-Try to obtain one more decent player during the draft. I got Harrison Barnes.

-Sign Demar in free agency if he's available, him or Lebron

My current roster after doing all that

Russell
Clarkson
Demar
Randle
Cousins

Jennings
Richardson
Barnes
Nance Jr
Capella

Mickey
Rozier
Felicio
Caboclo
This is partly what should have happened last year, concerning Cousins. They definitely should have traded for Cousins and got LaMarcas/ drafted Okafor. They should have at least have gotten two of those guys last year. Its time for Jeanie Buss to take charge because her brother has no idea what he is doing

I would just continue to build in the draft like Minnesota is doing.. Eventually we'll have enough pieces to attract a big name in free agency.

The first game of the 16-17 season after doing the impossible and singing Lebron on the first day of free agency keeping most of the main core brining Kobe back on a low deal since he won't retire and drafted Ingram and Brown at 2 and 3 after having the worst record in nba history the year before

How did you get Russell to an 85? I'm running with the Lakers and after year 1, he only climbed to an 80.

No idea I started him all year and and had the offense basically set to give Kobe the ball every possession so he was averaging like 12 sat per game that season and won ROTY idk if that matters and then in response to his winning I said I want more which increases potential.

Russel and clarkson are not stop arguing over minuets so I honk I might send them both out ask run Lebron at PG so I can start Ingram or Brown

I think I would rebuild through the draft, however with the pick going to the sixers with because there are not protected picks, I would trade Jordan Clarkson for a pick (as he is an unrestricted fa this offseason) and then try and get a big free agent, and then I would be set for the future lakers, with a core of randle, russell and a 2016 pick.
