Too many pick offs on conquest.

The game animations have really cost me a few times. A small roller to the pitcher and despite me fully loading the throw bar he takes his time getting it to first, resulting in an infield hit for the computer. This was a problem before, but it seemed to be fixed last year.

Another animation issue is catching balls in the outfield. If it's going to be this sensitive to player positioning then there needs to be some kind of strafing button like they have for receivers in Madden or defending in NBA games.

The challenge animation is too long.

Some positives though for me are that the hitting feels much smoother this year. Balls squared up feel truly struck. The chess game and feel of the battle between the pitcher and batter is incredibly realistic.

Be honest, is there really no come back feature? Actual baseball has some bit of a catch up feature, I believe, so maybe it isn't as unrealistic as it seems. Still, it'd be nice to know if there's a boost and what attributes to the amount of boost, if there is one.

Great game.

I can't really speak for him.....but I think he means that watching games.....you get that...uh-oh....here it comes and you just KNOW that something is going to happen to have your team win/lose....ala K.C. in the W.S. last year.

Maybe I'm reading him wrong though.

I'm an Orioles fan obviously, so with the back of our bullpen I never experience that feeling lol

That's cause last year those games were decided way before the ball got to the back of the pen.

Very True. We need some good starting pitching.

It's that nervousness in the air. The winners feel the pressure to maintain their lead. The team coming from behind finds a sense of calm in a nothing to lose mentality. Tides shift. Momentum builds and takes as much to distinguish as it did to mount a lead.
