Re: MLB The Show 16 Has Officially Arrived, Post Your Impressions Here

Anyone noticed that the day-to-night transition times seem vastly slowed down this year? Played a 7:05 game in April. It should be dark by the 3rd or 4th inning. In the 7th there was still some remaining glow in the sky.

Time doesn't seem to advance at the correct clip. Even for a low-scoring (i.e. 1-0) game, it should take at least 2.5 hours to play in most cases. But the time in the game is more like 1.5 hours.

I didn't notice this as much last year, and was wondering if anyone has noticed the same.

I think that the day light transition was updated as well, if that makes sense. I guess I am saying that they are using the lighting from last year stats and applying it to this year game.

This is exactly what I noticed today. Played an early April game in Cleveland and it didn't get dark until 8:30 pm which isn't right.

Haven't played The Show much in recent years. How long does it take to play a 9 inning game in real time? Is it less than 30 minutes?

Also, can you save a game in progress and finish it at a later time.

Having kids makes it tough to play for too long in one sitting.

Thanks in advance!

If fast play is on I can complete full games in around an hour. Hybrid - Broadcast starts inching up towards 2 if I'm watching all the scenes.

If you're looking to get through games faster, quick counts are an option. 20 - 30 minutes is probably a more realistic time for those.

You can save and resume, either from inside the game itself or by putting the PS4 in Rest mode.

anyone out there playing the PS3 version? I have yet to see any framerate issues. everything is silky smooth. the last Show I played was 13 and so far I am very impressed with 16. and as a Cubs fan, I am stoked to be playing with my squad.

I have tried for the last couple of hours to load my digital copy of the show mvp edition and it crashes to home screen each time

I like Battle Royale but the 2 loss/3 inning limit are both too low.

3 and 5 would be perfect.
