Sorry for the basic question, as I've never played DD, but do I have to unlock players in DD first before I can play Conquest mode or can I start conquest mode on release day as soon as I put the disk in?

You will have a team already when you first start (will mostly be low overall players). You will be able to play conquest right away

i want to play baseball...this isn't baseball...3 innings....diamond dyn was best when you created your own team and pitchers and players got tired......why don't they take a page out of strat o matic baseball...and sell previous seasons...id love to play the 1948 season...or 1927....1973 and 84...be creative guys...you don't need to recreate baseball...just offer us more of it...sell previous season....allow for expansion so we can bring the expos back to baseball...,,,,sell these as add ons if its about money...go...work on this...PLEASE
