I'm curious to know how exactly The Show will have more realistic routes.

Weren't outfielders already fielding the ball too quickly? So what is this accomplishing?

More realistic actually means less precise routes. For example, instead of knowing where a ball will carom off a wall automatically, they might go straight for that ball, then redirect for the carom (that's kind of what I think we saw int he video).

What I'm concerned about is... how is this helping when the human plays defense? They mentioned when the CPU plays defense, but I don't know how this remedies the issue with us doing it.

I love this forum sometimes...you can tell the people who really want to see the game improve and can see even the slightest of differences YOY.

Also: keep at it, Tnixen.

I, for one, would love to see you get to go to a CD in SD.

If affects humans in the way that a bad fielder will take an initial bad step or bad angle before you are given control over him. Then it's on you to make the adjustments needed.

Gameplay is looking better and enjoyed what I saw in both videos. I hope when they speak on presentation they tell us they added new game commentators. That's one area that hasn't changed and is long overdue, mainly Matt V....

I assume when the graphics stream comes along, we will here more about improved grass? Some stadium grass in 15 looked excellent, but in PNC Parc for example, the grass looked - imho - horrible, especially where the grass changes color/pattern. Look at grass in FIFA and PES 2016 to see how good it can look

Absolutely loved this stream. I'm very excited for this one, will get it at day 1 and take a few days off to play it.
Also happy this is possible these days since i live in the Netherlands.

Anyway : animations look very nice and more fluid. Love the part where they talked about the foot planting of the pitchers.
Was a little surprised / annoyed at first when they talked about animations for players out of position. Didn't make sense to me and felt like a waste of energy. But when they explained it's to do with online "cheating" it makes a lot of sense. I never play online so was not aware of this problem.

The stadiums look very much improved with this new PBR. Although i thought that they improved on the stadiums each year it seems that now finally they are making the real step to next gen (cosmetic wise if that makes sense).
Between innings there more already more zoomed out shots of the stadium which is very good.
I hated this on previous versions where you would almost only see that outfield wall. The stadiums are gorgeous so please show them off between innings.
Hoping for some more nice new presentations, excited crowds, dug out celebrations etc to make the atmosphere feel more vibrant and alive.

Last but not least : thanks for doing these streams. It's a nice way to get more info on the game and makes the waiting easier (or harder).
I've seen some negative comments about the steams but coming from a time when there was no internet or anything about new games i'll take any news i can get.
Can't wait to play this game!!!

Too bad us europeans don't stand a chance on the sweeptstakes being in the wrong timezones.
Hoping for some love for the european community next time!

I live in Holland as well and baseball is pretty popular over here. Of course, we are lucky that some parts of the caribean used to be Dutch, otherwise we wouldn't have standed a chance in all these WC's and World Baseball Classics.

Russell, if we can do anything to promote MLB The Show 16 in The Netherlands (I know, very small and probably useless market to SSD), you can always reach out to us!
