Here you go picking your arguments again, nobody is saying he should be high 80s etc etc we are saying if he's playing good consistent ball over the past 7-8 games why is he still going down..

And I have repeatedly given you your answer. It's called the law of averages. If Rose's solid play continues then eventually that will reflect in his overall production - calling for an increase in his ratings.

If we based everyone's rating off their last handful of games they would be a damn mess.

Last 10 games
Rose (7 played): 19.7 PPG, 3.4 APG, 49 FG%
Curry (8 played): 23.6 PPG, 7.1 APG, 47 FG%
Klay Thompson: 25.5 PPG, 2.5 APG, 47 FG%
Austin Rivers: 13.3 PPG (22 MPG), 53 FG%, 48 3PT%, 91 FT%

Curry's production slipped.
Klay's production is 90s caliber
Rivers' production is 80s caliber

Why isn't Austin Rivers in the 80s? Because his prior 10 games where he averaged 4.8 PPG on 36% shooting kinda sorta HAPPENED. His hot/cold streaks are as much a part of who he is, just as Rose's are.

Rose was overrated for a number of years and consequently won't get any sympathy from me now that his subpar play has finally been accurately depicted. It's an 82 game season for a reason - if Rose's play continues then 50 games of that will eventually supersede the first 30. But until then....

That's the thing, nobody's asking for Rose to be rated any higher than he was. If anything maybe 1-2 points nothing major. We are asking why is he still dropping overalls etc.

I just figured it out. He just flat out doesn't like the guy. The only explanation I can think of for how you can justify decreasing a player playing better. LOL
By this logic Rivers should be decreased too.
