He is shooting 26% outside of 15 feet on the year. 10 games don't change his broken jump shot. His play and production are merely meeting in the middle; it's hardly a given that Rose will build on his "enhanced" production either - it's just as likely that he falls back down to earth when the schedule toughens up again.

You have to be one of the most arrogant people on this site, I was using Rose as an example of how just relaying of Stats as the bases of making a player unusable in the game is flawed, so what do you do present me with more stats, thanks, and did you really just say that sharing the ball handling responsibility with multiple people on the team represents a flaw, really that says a lot about your knowledge of basketball beyond the stat sheets, the 2015-2106 offense is based on ball movement and multiple people touching the ball.

The only athletic attribute that dropped for Rose was his Lateral Quickness - which dropped for EVERYONE league-wide. 2K ignores most ratings talk because it is flat-out uninformed. Lots of cats have tunnel vision with regard to their favorites and simply don't have a wide-ranging grasp of the NBA landscape. I'm never reluctant to to engage in these discussions (irrespective of what snide remarks might come from the peanut gallery) because I use each one as a learning opportunity.... and having done it for 10+ years at this point, I've learned quite a lot. There are a small handful of people who understand how 2K calculates each attribute and the time/desire to apply those methods to a large pool of players without showing any bias. Mike was one of that select handful which is why 2K signs his checks now. He isn't perfect, but he is also a significant upgrade from the decade of roster work that preceded him. Anyone questioning him might want to put in the requisite research, look in the mirror, and then put in additional research to make sure they aren't blowing a fool's bugle. Alas, it's easy to write things on the internet with minimal effort.

There should be more point guards in the 70-80 range for standing layup. I've seen quite a few guards in the database with elite (85+) standing layup attributes. Huge discrepancy in your draw foul rating and 2k's. 27 points!
