I hear you. Anytime I used my best cards, I would either barely secure the 8th spot by energizing constantly and get destroyed, or I wouldn't even make the top 8. In terms of watering down my deck, I use single epics. Sometimes I am to win matches because my weak cards beats other weak cards.

Sometimes I will also place a few untrained perfect pros in and then train them up when the Kotr starts. This works from time to time. I just started a KOTR today and went with my best cards and through 7 games I only have one win. Of course it is filled with ppl sandbagging. Probably won't even make qualifying, but it is what it is. I am just glad to have finally reached Survivor in exhibition.

That's one of only three epics I've never had in season 2.
