I doubt EA will ever make another MVP game. The game has been gone for years now and with the struggles they've had with Live and catching up I doubt anyone at that company would seriously endorse sinking potentially millions into an entire new development team to rebuild a game from scratch which couldn't compete with the Show on PS4 and may only attract mild interest on Xbox One the first few years. If anything I could see 2K maybe restarting their baseball franchise again but even that's more an unrealistic maybe

i think the assumption that MVP would have to start from scratch isnt necessarily true. I still play MVP 05 even if all they did was Use that as a base with minor adjustments to gameplay and obviously made graphical improvements it could get attention. It would be a million times better than anything 2k did and with no competition on Xbox I think it could do well. And I agree that you can't compare NBA lives current situation as live has competition on every console.

If 2K were able to make a College Basketball game again with the legacy mode still intact and be able to add a mode comparable to the mycareer in the NBA franchise, I don't know that I'd ever need another video game. And I'm being serious. I played College Basketball 2k8 until just recently when I finally sold my Xbox 360.

I never realized how much I missed the NCAA Football, either, until getting back into Madden recently. It feels weird to have one without the other.

Yes. A modern College Hoops game with tweaked NBA 2K gameplay and graphics with 2k8's Legacy Mode would be nothing short of a masterpiece. NCAA Football with tuned Madden graphics and gameplay would be something special, too. Man I miss college sport games...
