I do agree with the input lag comments, and I play offline.

I've spoke about this many times ... Don't know how the hell this got into the game and the devs let it pass... For those of us who play mygm and MyLeague it ruins the game as you can not react in a timely matter on offense or defense... It's not a mass complaint bc we are only 15-20% of gamers who play the CPU in franchise modes etc. ... The other 80% all play Myplayer ... So they never have to control there team or defend the AI each possession lol. If so the masses would have screamed and 2k might have fixed the game. ... NBA 2k is a RPG... With a small drop of sim.

This is annoying the heck out of me. Patch 4 changed everything for me. Before patch 4 I only had problems with game play exploits online. Now the overall game performance is the issue.

i think the input lag is due to the right stick dribble moves. the game needs to have the input lag otherwise it doesn't know if you want to use the right stick to shoot or dribble. pretty stupid idea from 2k imo and i dunno how it's lasted for so many years. the left triger + left stick dribble moves from 2k12 and 11 were fine.

Lol.

Won't complain too much because I feel this is the best you've been able to play on ball D vs the CPU vs launch as well....contact hasn't been much of an issue for me...
Ok at least it isn't just me. I wish I can pick and choose certain aspects of the patch updates like a windows update haha. It is like we couldn't get user improved OBD without bumping up the CPU OBD.

I feel like I lost a piece of the chess match between the CPU and user by their new OBD. I say this as I have not touched one single slider in this game since release. I think I will just have to find a slider adjustment for what I think is realistic.

I think its safe to say that every patch changes the game just a bit. I adjust my game after every patch.

This input lag some speak of on both sides of the ball IMO correlates with exactly how you are moving your left stick IMO. If the guy im guarding (pg at the top of the key for example) is trying to drive left, i cut him off by moving my left stick kind of diagonal(inbetween up and left), because i am are reacting with where he is going, and i have seen that just moving the left stick left isnt suffice with average defenders.

Also jamming turbo, left trigger, while moving the left stick and having the right stick up to contest shot isnt going to cut it, otherwise it would be in the controls manual as super human defense.

After 4 patches though, ill say one thing. Directional passing can be WTF sometimes. And ive adjusted to icon passing.

Yeah even at launch if you were one on one with a slow big you could essentially blow by them with ease....takes a lot more (and IMO too much) now.....

It's manageable but it was better pre patch- like you said though, I don't want changes effecting my on ball D as well...

Well, it totally feels like they bumped up the CPU's on-ball defense again in the past few days. Was it in one of the updates or something?

I'm Steph Curry, and can barely get around anybody. Constant bumping and sucking me in.
