Re: NBA 2K16 Patch #3 Available Now For Xbox One

I give this patch ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Park and Pro AM play very well and I love love love the 3s in the key violation in Park.

My Career plays much better in respect to AI use of ACE and plays are run at a higher tempo.

The only criticism I have is the ball security. In Pro Am my 99 balanced SG is dropping the ball with no interference initiated and no iso dribble initiated - I simply put the ball in live play and suddenly it's dislodged when I try and move... I had 6 loose ball turnovers one Pro Am game and not one of them were initiated by the defender contact or traffic... player simply loses control...

The ball security pitfall is an extremity and I'm not gonna request it be patched. Reason being: there is way more good in this patch than bad that I don't want any more tuning and patching to ball security - I can wait for 2k17.

Blocking feels fine, on ball defense feels fine, shooting, it all feels fine and so does the general gameplay in Patch 3.

Re: NBA 2K16 Patch #3 Available Now For Xbox One

I actually like the patch vs. the CPU SS Sim no slider changes. I have shot the lights out in one game with the Warriors. I was like 18/30 from 3pt and made 8/8 as a team in the 3rd. I don't recall any game like this year with multiple teams I have used. Draymond was on Barnes on. I had like 3 guys with the double rings. I had to double check the settings multiple times. It reminded me of that Clippers game.

I played another game Portland vs. Timberwolves and I shot 6/30 from three 20% and the game went into double overtime I managed to pull it out. Something is up with the clutch in this game or is it just me so many games are close or come down to the last few shots? Towns hit this midrange shot to tie the game should have recorded it just crazy with like a second left.

I know I played at least 10 plus overtime games already. The CPU just comes back it is hard to put them away.

What is clear to me is they toned down the "brain neutral" user CPU AI. Is it perfect no but it is much better post patch. It makes a big difference that your CPU teammates are helping out.

I second this. Had 12 min/HOF sliders before the patch and went to start from scratch but loved the way post patch played so much I'm just going to bump it down to 10 min quarters and turn a blind eye to the few stats that aren't perfect and enjoy SS/SIM. Slider-itis was killing me.

Back and forth runs, good offense, consecutive stops. I feel like this patch brought it back to how this game felt out of the box while fixing all the little things that plagued it during release.

The peaks and valleys are definitely my favorite part.

Went down 22-6 against the Hawks with the Hornets, tied it up at by half time.....Hawks went up by 6 after the half, and I ended up winning by 12 after a big run.....complete roller coaster of a game....didn't feel this way originally to me, which is why I made the thread about game diversity early after release....

I agree on the User CPU A.I., and also I think that the CPU opponent makes more mistakes now, not as many as they should, but it is better. My only real issue is that I am completely hapless guarding on the ball. The CPU just waltzes by me to the rim at will. I am using the the Lakers so that is a major handicap.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

The Lakers are my favorite team in real life but I can't play with them this year man. 2K has it too accurate because their defense is an abomination in this game and there isn't much you can do about it except go thru the motions, like last night.. SMFH
