Any more opinions on clipping?

Yes, previously I would toast any defender in front of me, and weave through two others like they were standing still even though some of the moves used during this process should have caused me to lose the ball.

Now? I can get by one, and have to read where the others will go. Do I need a crossover? Is there enough room to left stick switch hands? No option for a Snatch back, should I spin move, Or post up for a second to protect the ball before proceeding?

Maybe I feel different because I was playing like this pre-patch, and didn't have to adjust my style as much as I had to learn the new timings and what I could get away with.

I find it funny that half the threads are "You can blow by anyone", and the other half are "You can't dribble anymore". It's somewhere in between. Get in the lab, understand the game is no longer holding your hand, and figure it out.
I have figured it out. I'm actually pretty decent with or without cheese. Doesn't change the facts I already stated about the game though. Players all stuck in mud, no fluidity, clipping, fugazy animations and "live ball physics," otherwise known as kicked balls not called.

You bums need to relearn the game. The changes the patch was the result of the incessant complaints of bums not learning to play in the first place.
Those "bums" you speak of simply play the game different than you. "Learn" the game to whose standards? They paid money and can "learn" to play whatever way they want. Parrot.

Patch gameplay for those that love them some sim stats and in turn now people running through one another at an alarming rate, in 2015.

And because that was an easy fast break. Chris Pauls brain doesn't stop for seconds and communicate to his body telling it to run full speed, it just does.

I guess I just don't understand the logic behind any game play patches. You spend the better part of a year making a game only to completely change it after a month because a few loud internet people tell you to? makes no sense.

this game gives you plenty of options to adjust the game play how you like out of the box so why patch it at all? especially when said patch has the ability to break something like co-op.

Don't agree really, sometimes there are some big gameplay issues that need to be patched. And also the sliders are nice in theory but a lot of times they don't function as intended

First point: I don't believe you on the decent thing. If that was the case you wouldn't have even asked if anyone had found "Advantage Tactics" or "New ways to cheese". You would've went and figured it out yourself or just not said anything since you're "Decent" already. Since you got drilled immediately after asking those questions and being serious, your entire posting style has changed from "They took the cheese our, this patch sucks" repeating issues that you see others talk about so you can be on the side of "This patch sucks", without mentioning something you should have never mentioned in this forum to begin with.

The game moves slower, yes. Stuck in the mud I haven't felt unless I miss my launch point, or try to take off from an awkward position. I really don't know what you mean by fluidity. I seriously haven't experienced this, aside from the slight nerf to launch speeds which hinders a lot of my play style(To which I just starting using a different approach). The animations are fine. The only suspect ones are the ones on chase down blocks where you jump right when they clearly are going left. I believe that's part of the block nerf though.

Clipping...is suspect. They do need to turn the contact up a bit, but my defense hasn't suffered much, and from other posts it seems like other people are still successful. So, I'm inclined to believe most of these good defenders...well, just aren't.

The parrots comment: The "Bums" he's referencing are the people who refuse to adapt and cry about every change. Every patch has "Ruined" the game. Hell, everything was "Broken" day one. You can look that up just going back a few pages.

Human beings do not like change. We build routines, and follow them. Psychologically it gets on our nerves, even if only subconscious, when our plans change unexpectedly. The way a lot of people learned to play is not the way the game makers intended. This is obvious, I mean, otherwise they wouldn't have went on a campaign for defense. They wouldn't have dropped 3 patches in the span it took to get 1 last year, heavily changing gameplay to combat things.

What if I told you that they learned the wrong way to play, and because no one ever told them or did anything about it, they didn't know any better? So now they are mentally programmed to think the game is broken, and reject the idea that it might actually be them that doesn't understand what they're doing.

Finally, your video. Chris Paul doesn't take off immediately due to the fact that he just grabbed the loose ball. He got a slow pick up animation as opposed to one of the "In stride" ones, probably due to the guy next to him (Which should effect that.) People in the NBA don't just run over a ball bouncing low and pick it up at full speed. When they do, sometimes they bobble it as well, or even get the slow walk to grab it.

The pass looked bad, but I've seen that pre patch off a contact bump before. But I'll concede clipping, since it has gotten worse.

I'm not trying to come after you, but the game isn't as "Ruined" or "Broken" as everyone keeps acting like. But it's changed dramatically in 2 months, and a lot can't adapt that quickly.

One last thing: I'm not some kind of godlike 2k player, but I'm confident in my abilities. I have my own style of playing. I play smart, and efficient, and try to focus on good team basketball. My success in what I do is where my confidence comes from, and seeing people who are supposedly "Unbeatable 2k players" or "Better than everyone" whine about things I can personally deal with gives me my jaded attitude. I've dealt with all the dumb garbage from the previous games to the point of being able to actually just flat out stop the zig zag cheese in 2k15 with pure anticipation and instinct. So if I'm not all that great, which I'm pretty sure I'm not, Why can't "Good" players suck it up and adapt to the changes instead of crying about it? It frustrates me, and confuses me.
