Patch notes look PHENOMENAL!

Almost every one of my gameplay concerns have been addressed. I am thrilled to see a significant emphasis on dribble drives and the elimination of hitch/ suction defense.

The one thing I do not see is an emphasis on defenders leaving offensive players wide open in the paint. This was a significant issue which caused an unusually high PIP statistic for user controlled games.

Tuned the dribble system in order to tone down the effectiveness of behind-the-back dribble moves and ‘zig-zagging’ back and forth to get open.


I hope they did a better job with this in 2k16 then they did in 2k15's patch because the behind the back animation they patched in last year was so ugly I never wanted to do it, I don't want Curry's behind the back dribble animation to look like a big man doing it just to nerf the effectiveness of it.

Won't be able to play the game for a couple days, can anyone confirm contract offers by CPU in free agency in MyLeague/MyGM work as they should now (good players now getting paid adequately, etc)

These patch notes are incredibly detailed but am I reading correctly that it appears that they did nothing to address the non injuries to MyGm when playing as the user vs cpu? Injuries never occur during a game which makes this mode completely unrealistic unless you sim each game to be able to receive injuries given to the user.
