Blocks are OP. Shooting is wack. Ball tracking is unrealistic. Defense recovery is unrealistic. It's so much I can go on and on.

I just got done with a close game online. I'm up 1 with 40 seconds to go. I make a great defensive play and I got Curry on the break with Westbrook trailing at least 20 ft back. Well guess what? Curry, rated 94 ovr misses a WIDE OPEN LAYUP. I guess the game thought Westbrook's pursuit was a "contest". Westbrook was not even close or else he would've blocked Currys shot with the way the blocking is OP. Thankfully a teammate got the rebound for the putback but I was upset because that's not realistic NBA basketball. 94 ovr rated players shouldn't be missing layups on a break.
Hm. And realistic NBA basketball doesn't feature a "94 ovr rated player".

Even Lebron isn't perfect

Curry missed the wide open dunk and even Lee couldn't lay it in

Last example for humanity

Btw: I also dont think that shooting and contested shots needs a tweak within the next patch. It's all bout realism!

Has there been any word on the patch fixing post double teams?

And the often long lack of crowd atmosphere / noise?

These two issues fixed will make this the GOAT.

Both as they stand now though are really ruining the experience.

I think 2k16 is the best basketball-simulation-game that has been dropped yet.
Sure, it need some tweaks. For example the transition-defense, the awareness of every player on the court (on both ends). That's the gameplay part. With a modified roster (w/tendencies) and good sliders in my opinion the game REPRESENT realism, yeah. But for real realism you have to go to the court, you know this.

For me, i'm an offline player (only MyLeague and play now) the most annoying things are the lack of realism when it comes to contract issues in ML or crazy trades like Drummond for Omer Casspi, filler + future picks and the Kings save their 4th center. The draft-decisions in MyLeague are also often weird and makes me head-shaking. Especially after a BlogEntry from a 2k dev, which has praised the new AI-Logic in MyLeague, i'm very disappointed with the status quo.

What about incentives to inside scoring players? The game leans very heavily to outside scoring. Inside/balanced guards need a boost to post fadeaway or something lol. Also the ball security in the paint needs to be raised a bit it should probably be tied into post control or something lol. Also some weird stuff happens when rebounding sometimes on my big I can have a guy boxed out then when the shot goes up the person I was boxing magically warps through me and gets prime position for rebound lol I figured out a way to counter that and still get my boards but a box out is a boxout and that shouldn't happen lol.

I play strictly online. Head to head, so therefore I probably see a ton of problems u never will see.

I just hate how no one over a 78ish ovr ever makes it to free agency the only time I every singed a superstar was a 85ovr Melo's but that was only because he was 40
