I just made Schmaltz and have him as a 71 ovr, low Top 4 potential.

I boosted Fabbri to a 77 and Parayko to a 78 as well.

I'm upping Parayko to at least an 81 and gave him elite potential. He's a beast....even Chris Butler in the minors is like an 81. Parayko might be the Blues best dman by the time the season is over. He's been there best dman to start to the season for sure.
Also they have Edmundson shooting right and Parayko shooting left as well so both of those need changing.
As for the missing pics on some players, if they weren't in the game last year they won't have pics.

I didn't catch those handiness changes.. can you change that after you start your BeaGM or do you have to do that before?

That I don't know as I haven't started anything yet. I still have slider work to do.

Thanks.. I don't think you can edit players once you start, I could be wrong. I know there is an edit option, but I think that's on the rosters page and not in BeaGM.

No biggie if I can't.. not that huge of a deal to me.

and the wrong handiness seems like they took a player and changed his name and height to Colton Parayko.

Too bad we can't edit ages.

If EA's taught me anything, it's that their rosters are better to use as a reminder to how much better everything would be with rosters/players you could actually edit and share than actual rosters.

Why don't they allow us to share rosters again?

I imagine the engine work and server work that they would have to do would be pretty substantial. They would need to create the programming to save, send and receive the rosters in the game itself, and then create the settings to allow the Playstation or XBox to connect to a given server.
On top of that, they would have to manage and monitor those servers, which is just extra money.

Not exactly meant as a sleight against EA, but they've had their hands full just getting the game into a functional state on the Next-Gen systems. Honestly, a lot of the things we've been wishing for aren't likely until they can get a good foundation to work on (which NHL16 looks like it might finally be).

That said, the feature would be incredible, especially if it was paired with a better player/face editor. EA could cut back on their 'official' rosters, and just let players create and share their own. Guys like the Revamped Team did wonders with editing and adjusting the players and rosters, then using a work-around to deliver them to the people. It breathed a lot of new life into the game, and got me back to playing NHL14 after months of sitting it on the shelf.
Shared rosters would be huge for the game (along with shared sliders, assuming they worked...and, since I'm already dreaming editable jerseys that you could share, similar to the old NCAA football games). I know EA has a ton of stuff to do, and honestly, it's a complete waste of the community that plays the game to not allow them to create and share their own rosters. There are guys that know their team front-to-back, similarly there are people who follow the junior teams and AHL teams just as closely, and would be more than happy to make needed roster and attribute edits. We just need EA to take the chains off and let us work.
