Put it this way. Live has had 3 years to fix the starting tipoff. You know, the one you NEVER lose against the CPU and the one that always floats backwards to a PG in the most canned sequence imaginable. Honestly, Double Dribble (1986, yeah I owned and played it) has the same tip. When I saw that popup again in Live 16, I knew right away that the dev team was struggling from a gameplay perspective. No SIM should introduce itself in this way. Especially not a demo that's supposed to convince me to buy the game. And, my first impressions were correct. Demo deleted, not wasting $60 on Live like last year. Worst gaming purchase in my 30 years doing this.

your guy automatically jump for the tip ball even if you don't press anything. Usually the the tallest or in some cases the most athletic center win the tip if you let the cpu jump for you.

This is my main issue. Defense is too unrealistic and inconsistent. Don't feel like I'm actually in control of stopping scoring especially online.

What I'm confused about is that EA Said they added over 8,000 gameplay animations but when I play all still see a game that lacks core animations are these things being patch in or were we bamboozled. ..???????

You need to read the fine print. 8000 animations, but only 100 are used (the same wonky post moves from last year).

They need to do a roster update because some players are still free agents that were signed by teams months ago like Richard Jefferson. I refuse to start dynasty mode until they update the rookie faces. I don't know what's taking them so long.

I just played the most exciting video BB GAME in a long time. Also before the start I had an update on my Xbox one, and if I'm not crazy the game played so much better. Just from defense and all around. I was my Knicks Vs 76ers, it was a tight game. I had the lead at half by 5, they fought back and I wind up losing by 117-111, I dropped 50 with Melo and I wasn't being a ball hog with him, he just played the star of the team like he is suppose to be. I loved hearing three!!!!! When I was shooting them. I'm just saing it was a exiting game. My 6 year old son was watching and he was cheering me on lol it was just a fun experience.. Thx for reading
