Does anyone else notice how dumb the human defense can get sometimes? As great as this game is costing me 6-8 points when games are pretty much tight battles for the most part is frustrating as hell because your defense just goes completely third grade on you and doesn't guard their man.

I agree. It's taking way too long getting into plays on the human side, so it just have to move the ball and play. Do you feel CPU gets better movement and spacing?

I feel like I've been b******* about this game all day but quite honestly this is one of the best experiences I've had with a sports game in a loooooong time. I'm just pumped that it can be even that much closer to greatness with tweaks...

If I had a dollar for every time I got the "you're playing this again?" look from my wife id be a rich man....

Well I got the chance to play it again tonight and I really do have to say, the pick and roll is seriously a thing of beauty. I love the way the CPU defense adjusts to it. Sometimes they will over play the screen, other times they will hedge it, and then they will also ICE it. If I don't react to it well, they eat my lunch.

The crowd thing is still bothering me, though. There were times (at home, with the Rockets) when I ran my plays to perfection and ended up with a monster throw down from Dwight Howard and the crowd didn't react at all. They were like that all game. I mean on the outside looking in it doesn't seem like a big deal, but when I'm in the middle of a battle the crowd can get me even more pumped up. They don't do it though.

I have played like 16 or 17 games so far and the only thing I see that really needs to be fixed in a patch so far is team don't play any zone Defense. I have even bump up the coaching slider for teams to see if they would play zone D some and I have yet to see neither the AI or myself with plays set to auto ever go to a zone.


Other than that issue, Im just loving how the gameplay is, I do wish teir were more non shooting fouls and charging calls made in the game as even with them bump to 100 you really don't see enough of them, which has been a issue in every NBA2k game made I think and I have played either NBA2k since it came out except for the 09 version as I was still into CH2k8 and NBA2k8.


Other than what I mentioned this game is near flawless with gameplay, and I only hope that once I get into My League and MY GM that everything works like it suppose too, and sim team stats and players stats are spot on, if it is then this game will be not just the best basketball game ever made, but the greatest sports game ever made. Which is saying a lot from me considering how high I put MLBTS, but this NBA2k definitely has a chance to beat out MLBTS by a good margin even.

It's probably my imagination, but I feel they already tuned offensive rebounding. I don't think it's me getting better, both teams actually get in position and jump for offensive boards and get a normal amount now.
