Re: FIFA 16 Available Today, Post Your Impressions

Question: I'm playing on xbox one and any time I score a nice goal a message pops up saying "game clip recorded." This message always gets in the way. How do I remove it?

Between the beta/demo and now full game I am already sick of seeing the same type of goals go in.

I know which ones work for me and I know exactly what the cpu is trying to do. So once you are able to out think the cpu it gets stale quick.

I am not going to say what to do because I do not want to ruin the experience for anyone else.

But if you reach the point I have, any good scores this game gets plummet, because of the lack of goal variety and the unwillingness of the cpu to really try anything different than their initial strategy.

I must be playing a different game then because I have scored 19 goals in 16 matches and not a single one was the same. I've conceded 24 and again all of them were varied.
Also every game was different. Last one against Chelsea at home, 15 min, WC, default sliders. Tactics 4-4-2, defensive approach with counter attacks. Final score 1-1. Chelsea made a sub in the halftime, in 54' and the last one in 66'. They changed their attacking approach 3 times in the game and finally I was able to finish the game 52%-48% in possession. Yes that's Leicester-Chelsea and I won the possession.
I agree that the cpu teams are not so varied but the smarter AI coding makes for some great games+the player abilities can make a huge difference in many situations. I don' believe you've managed to dominate the AI playing with a medium/low rated team. If you did put it in a spoiler and share it with us.
Oh! Their shooting stats were 20 shots, 8 on target.

Has anyone heard or experienced job offers in Manager mode yet? I like to start at a lower ranked team and work my way up to the bigger clubs but that has been impossible the last two years which led to me just doing a different MM every 3-4 years.

It's a combination of 3 distinct things.

1. the cpu player with the ball is incapable of more than an A or B decision.
So if you deny the A choice, and hedge on the B choice, they will return to the A choice 99% of the time. I would type 100% but few things are 100%.

2. When you shoot, the legacy issue still remains of your attackers moving backwards immediately once the CPU touches the ball. Just watch any replay. It's incredibly annoying.

3. There are hot spots/methods for making the ball go in the goal. When the game is tied or within a goal it's incredibly hard to resist using the methods.

Don't get me wrong, I have stayed up until 2am since the game hit EA access/the full game hit stores playing it.

It probably is the best FIFA in awhile but the more you start to see the patterns in the AI the more the shine wears off.

I remember last year only had offers when some title was won, like Championship, cup or european competition.

Sorry but I don't understand that. Ofc the cpu AI will have patterns as their attacking approach is based on algorithms that include formation, ability, momentum, time etc. The adaptive difficulty is by default on which means certain situations trigger in specific moments. Some might say it's scripted but that's the way the AI is programmed by EA devs.
That said, it doesn't mean the AI is boring. It's not boring because this time stats, abilities and individual ratings really matter. The AI is programmed to find the best pass to the open teammate. Example: Team AI Arsenal deploys plan A for attack according to their formation. Plan A is pass to player A->B->C->D-> Shoot. If you intervene somewhere on C they'll go straight to the D option if this player is not marked tightly/properly. If he is marked they'll go back to option A or B and start again.
I think what you're looking for is a freelance offense/attack like the last 2 NBA2k titles. This is not going to be implemented on FIFA unless EA Canada hires some pc coding experts who also have a big knowledge of the sport.
