Yeah I've been running some CPU vs CPU on Superstar and I've been seeing a little more mid range jumpers. It would be nice to see some of the stars beating a player off the dribble for space and shoot the jumper though, and or if the CPU has the obvious mismatch they'll shoot the midrange besides the shot clock expiring and them shooting it because they have too. Also like most people I would like for the game to tigthen up the interior defense making players to change their strategy or force the other team to shoot more jumpers. Like if the cpu has to match up against the Clippers they should have to think twice about driving all the time because they have to worry about Deandre Jordan altering or blocking their shot. It's just too easy for players to get into the paint and I want to see teams struggling to score because they can't get those easy paint points. Also probably tune the shooting down a little because players were making a high frequency of shots from the field. Defense needs to be more of presence, if someone is getting hot the CPU should be sending their best defender on them and or double teaming them every time they get the ball.

Also do something about big men being able to just drive from the 3pt line and get an easy basket. It would also be nice to see the CPU run more plays in the game. Would also be nice to be able to adjust the game speed. Also the late game AI needs some work because at one point with 30 seconds left the Bulls were down by 4 to Wizards and they started intentionally fouling instead of trying to force a turnover and also they fed the ball with 40 seconds left in the fourth to Joakim Noah who wasn't open but got the ball and got to the foul line. He missed both free throws and I'm pretty sure with a minute left the Bulls would've made sure Rose or Butler were driving to the basket rather than Noah. The 2nd half of the game played better than the first though because there was way more mid range shots. They're just needs to be a tuning with shots made because the Bulls shot 73 percent for the game but because the Wizards were playing at home they shot 37 free throws. I do like how the players that usually shoot the ball on the team are actually shooting it. I just hope if two really good defense teams are playing each other that the score stays under 100.

For those who keep saying shooting is too easy I'm just curious to know if any of you have ever switched the shooting to ratings only?

I think in many sports games when you basically control everything your doing things that inflate stats because now the game doesn't rely as much on ratings but more so the human stick skills

IN Madden you take a poor QB and complete 70% of throws because his ratings don't matter once you start taking control....

It's the same in NBA Live IMO......now I can't tell any of you how to play your game but I've seen FG% seem way more realistic playing Live 16 using Ratings only shooting.

It takes human skill out of the equation and relies more so on the actual ratings assigned to the players.

Now you can then tweak sliders based off player shooting ratings and I know for fact even on Pro level with adjusted sliders the shooting is toned down playing that style.

It's not like your playing another human player so why not allow the game ratings to decide more outcomes when your playing the CPU?

But hey that's just my 2-cents...

Just switched to Ratings only with shooting and the game scores have been much better. I'm also continuing to see the AI work for some space to get mid range shot which I'm happy about. I hope they can do something about the Euro movement because it still seems that the CPU can still use it to get to the hoop and score even if the paint is crowded.

Also does anyone with the full game know if teams like the Spurs will try to beat you with passing?

I will give this a test run and report back with my impressions.

Control responsiveness n post defense are my two biggest issues right now.

Not too worried about the shooting percentages n other stuff because they will get addressed like they did last year.

I've seen several verticality type of contact animations today that were pretty slick. Robin Lopez was using his body to alter shots.

Guys, please give us some specifics when describing these wonderful happenings regarding gameplay. Are you playing the full game with the inclusion of the latest patch to achieve these results? Are these on default slider settings or have they been altered for more contact in the paint or both? This will help clear up some confusion and hopefully satisfy inquiring minds. Sincerely looking forward to the retail game on Tuesday.

Oh, by the way, while harping about a need for more variety in defensive players movement or animation after a fake out or crossover, I saw a fantastic new animation unfold right before my eyes during a demo game vs Warriors. I basically hit a stutter step with Kyrie and Curry slid backwards on all fours! Has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Slick and sick as hell! I saw a similar animation in the other game last night and loved it so this is great news! Very appropriate for that play. Question: Can this type of animation be added via the daily updates? Never seen this one during my games. Hopefully they can reduce the frequency of the cpu defender completely falling for the fake. I can understand a partial freeze occurring more often. Good stuff.
