Trolled the hell out of this cheeser dude online. Was purposely taking my time to score. This fool was iso-ing with Blake Griffin. Dude had to have been in Middle School or something. Blake fouled out for him. Dude double and triple teamed mu guards in the MIDDLE of the floor. I got layups after layup. It was sad.

Would anyone recommend waiting to play my career when a patch comes out (if any) or just go at it right now?

Re: NBA 2K16 Available Today, Post Your Impressions Here

Haven't played this game in years so it's definitely improved for me. I'm an older gamer who mainly bought this for occasional pick up & play games especially with classic teams. When I saw Laker legend Kareem's twitter post saying "I'm proud to bring my skyhook to a new generation of fans" I had to jump in...

https://twitter.com/kaj33/status/646358453762588672

But now I'm somewhat concerned. I watched a CPU vs CPU game on 6 min quarters to get a feel for how things play out. It was 85 Celtics vs 86 Lakers:

- Magic was amazing which is good, but overly so. He scored 2/3 of the points and was selfish - never passing it to an open man on a drive. His passing was legendary, he'd sling passes behind his back at the last second even though he could've had an easy 2.

- Zero skyhooks by Kareem, is this not in the game? And Lakers rarely kicked it in to the big man. His player model was too beefy too, players were not bulked up as much back in those days. His defense was good though, he had some nice blocks.

- Aggressive power forward James Worthy basically did nothing but pass the ball, only one short drive to the basket. That dude was a beast but plays like a benchwarmer that shouldn't have the ball, really?

- Lakers not aggressive enough in general. On some fast breaks Lakers would put on the breaks for some unknown reason. Never the 80's Lakers man, they were Showtime!

- On the Celtics end, Danny Ainge only took one 3 pointer. At the end of the game Boston was down by 3 points and they had the ball with 17 seconds left. They passed the ball around and never got a shot off! Where was "3 specialist" Ainge? Hanging out in the 2-point zone.

- On the upside Larry Bird was solid but not as dominant as Magic. My man Rambis looks great and always seemed to be in the action. Cooper was great on defense (which is how it should be) and McHale & Parish seemed to play realistically.

Played a few more games today. Getting more familiar with the controls, which is good. Here's a couple of additional thoughts.

Pros
-Halftime show. This is really well done, imo. Nice amount of highlights while the studio crew talks about the game.

-Speed. I finally feel a difference in using John Wall and a guy like Ramon Sessions. Wall and Lawson can be lethal in open space.

Cons
-CPU too often goes into warp-speed run down the court mode following a defensive rebound or turnover. I'd like to see that toned down.

I already want to trade Roy Hibbert from the Lakers.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Lebron James needs to be toned down, it's a guaranteed dunk for him after every CPU miss.

Re: NBA 2K16 Available Today, Post Your Impressions Here

Played 4 full games now and gameplay is a thing of beauty, without having to go crazy adjusting sliders. Sim setting works great with adjusting fouls up to get more non shooting fouls, and lowering the passing accuracy donw to get more TO, other than probably a few tweaks here and there and it will be near perfect.

Saw slider sharing is back, glad to see finally that added back.

All Star with sim settings is really giving me a tough time, which I like, that's the way its suppose to be, ALL Star setting was like this for me, quite a challenge, so glad to see that's back, and I hope you don't mess with it this year, no matter how many online people cry about it.

YOu can really tell the difference between good players and bad ones.

Really as far as gameplay goes I cant find anything negative really. Probably the 1 thing negative is picks don't seem quite strong enough, and it seems hard to get by your player because the pick man don't get close enough to him. Maybe its just me not being very good, but that's my feel on that so far, felt that way last year too for me.

I do wish with fake players on classic teams you would let us fully edit them, as in changing skin color. Would make fixing all the missing player much easier IMO.
