I seriously was able to be excited about Play Now for all of an hour before the other shoe dropped. It just seemed too good to believe because the new mode made so much sense and didn't seem to feed the 2k VC machine in any significant way.

I dont believe in having Classic teams in ranked matches. U telling me if i was use the Suns i have to play against the 96 bulls and 2003 Lakers every game just cause i'm good enuff to get a top tier? and buying wins? smh FIFA has a perfect system. u win u move up. u lose u get relegated just like in MyTeam. Nothing more nothing less. It works. Not all this classic teams and buying wins stuff

Gotta appease the casuals. 2k was so much better when they weren't on top and had no choice but to dedicate their selves to the sim community. Now the game is just a bunch of fantasy and rucker park bs.

Well fortunately the other game looks pretty good this year, so that may be a viable option for you. That's the great thing about having two respectable games.

Me? I think I'll stick with 2K. Who cares what others do with their VC money. Having the option isn't lame, the people who would actually spend money to do this are.
