Re: FIFA 16 Trial Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Play For 10 Hours

So I'm trying to upload a few clips from my game as Liverpool against Tottenham but as I'm learning, everything is a littleeeeee (read: alot more) bit harder to do on the Xbox One than it is on the PS4. Anyway, rant aside, the clips were of Tottenham players trying shots from distance. Shots you'd never see in 15.

My first game I played against Norwich and everything was a cross into the box because they didn't have the skill to create in the final third of the field. Against Tottenham it was the complete opposite as they kept playing long balls forward into Kane to advance the ball and actually played a bunch of one-two's and first time shots as well. It was beautiful to see. I'm admittedly a 75/25 online to offline player in FIFA but you offline only guys are in for a treat. This game is a beaut.

I've seen guys have trouble handling the ball on a first touch, which makes you think about who to pass to as well as how hard. I've seen the A.I. play the ball to the goalie often but it is with purpose, not how in PES they play it along the back line strictly for possession. The best part is the transitional animations. There is a TON more in 16. It leads to players feeling weighty and the game not appear so herky jerky because there isn't enough animations to show what the game is trying to show.

My favorite clip I saved that I'm hoping to upload is of a play you would never see in PES because the physics engine in FIFA is an absolute gem. I was setting up a shot with Benteke and just as I was swinging my leg forward to kick the ball, the defender clipped my shooting leg, leading to me dragging that foot and then falling forward. It was an absolutely awesome example of the physics present in this game.

Tuesday can't come soon enough so I can start everything going on my PS4.

Yup, the individual training is a great addition, it's nice to know that if I want Ox-Chambo to become a box-to-box midfielder I can do that by training him so he gets the required statistics for it. IRL you see things like this all the time, CAM's converted to strikers, strikers converted to wingers, etc.

Re: FIFA 16 Trial Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Play For 10 Hours

I just wanted to post my thoughts on the game. I bought FIFA 14 and FIFA 15 and absolutely loved it. After watching the word cup I was addicted to soccer and since I'm a raider and laker fan (sad face) I picked Barcelona and Man U to be my choice of teams. I fell in love with the game of soccer and the game of FIFA. But as I started to watch more I could the game didn't play sim like. I've put hundreds of hours into being a manger in the old FIFA and became fairly good. Was able to place the top of the league usually on word class through season after season but couldn't make the jump to legendary. Today as I finished the download I jumped right back into manager mode. I figured to try professional for me first preseason game as Man U. I was able to beat athletico Madrid 3-1 and it was extremely competitive and I got a penalty in the end to seal the deal. I made the jump to world class and got beat by a sorry team and was extremely mad but it was such a good game and the final score was 2-1. I had Barcelona my next game and said hey it's preseason I can do professional before jumping back into world class when the season started. I lost to Barcelona 2-0 without Messi or Neymar playing (smh). I couldn't believe it. The game is so much better and the AI is so on point. I am extremely satisfied with the game and will probably make 4 accounts before the game comes out. Sure I'll find some weaknesses as with any game but this is the best one to date.

Thank you EA sports for listening to your fans and making a complete game. Please listen to the fans for madden and nba live.

After watching this the first time I was gonna say that all it needs now is some background music, but then I realized that my speakers were turned off. So I watched it again with the speakers on and oh maan it's much better than I could've imagined!

Thanks for the impressions everyone, I'm really enjoying the demo and I'm seriously excited for the full game!

Is the AI in pro clubs now programmed to pass as soon as they get it no matter what the situation is?

The AI is making this mode unplayable in this version.
