3/5 star scout is 1,908,000 and a 4/5 star scout is 2,340,000...since I'm using Liverpool, this is in sterling, not USD.

So far having played/simmed through about 2 months of a season in career mode, my biggest concern is player training. It's a refreshing addition being able to control what ratings your players see the most growth in, but I'm scared it will make players overpowered quickly. I've already got Danny Ings from a 76 to a 78, and a little over halfway to 79. It's insanely easy to progress players if you play all the training drills yourself each week. I've played the drills in maybe 3 of 8 weeks and players are still growing a bit quicker than I'd like. That being said, this is the only career mode I've started, so the results may very well be different in a separate career mode or even a couple months into my current one.

Overall I'm enjoying my 10 hour trial that will be ending by the end of the night, I'm sure.

I saw the opposite on the training. I trained the same 5 guys, but all in different drills each week for a month. As in they each played a different drill each week, never the same one twice in a row. No one improved a full stat increase in that month. One player got real close, but his stat started half way filled in already. I think maybe it depends on the drill, what it increases and then the player. I didn't do any strikers. I only did mid and defensive players. And I was admittedly trying to round them out, not trying to focus on one stat to increase it. So maybe it can be abused if you just take a striker and pound his shooting over and over.

That's a good point. I'd been developing each of the shooting ratings, and those tend to weigh a bit heavier on forwards' OVR than other ratings I think. Luckily, it's us that are controlling the training, so we can make it as realistic as we want it to be.

Better, the defenders stay in a better shape it seems like and the CPU make themselves more available as a viable passing option. There's not as many freakouts by the AI from what I've seen through about 3 matches. Though, there have definitely been a few moments where I have no idea what the CPU is doing, but I expected that on some level.

Ya that is what I like about it. We have a very large range of control. And you could tune someone to fit into another position. They might not grow in OVR, but that doesn't matter. They gave us good control with it and its up to each person on how they want to use or abuse it.

Exactly. I remember last year when Emre Can started playing CB, I was already months into my career mode and his defending ratings weren't good enough to make me want to play him in the back. If something like that happened with a player this year, I could actually choose what to improve and that's huge for me.
