Certainly not feeling anything like a sim experience that's for sure.
you guys are driving me bonkers with this stuff. it has be worked with to get a sim experience like every other soccer game released for the last 10 years! stop watching these other videos with guys just running around with fluid formations turned off. this causes players to not even come back and play d. anyway i just get frustrated because i have worked on sim for this game and it has turned out quite well (minus fouls i know already!). Everyone knows how to manipulate FIFA w/ sliders but this game is different. What have you even done to change the game to play the way you want? FIFA out of the box is like that too! Just up and down. That is what casual gamers want. We are the minority. Anyway in a couple days I will post some vids of simulation type gameplay and how I achieved it. Of course some people from won't even look at it and just keep being ignorant.

Looks like the main and consistent complaint with the game is lack of fouls. That seems to be an issue on PES for the past few years I've seen. FIFA has gotten better but even then there isn't enough . I hope this gets fixed very soon, I miss the old days where refs had ratings of strictness , neutral or lenient and the games felt differently because of it

the great thing about this game is that one game, I can feel like it's way too easy. I beat Leicester 8-2, Bony had 4 goals and I just generally dominated possession.

Next game a few days later against Arsenal, I lost 3-2. Sure, the difference in teams is big, but I could tell a difference, too.

I agree somewhat dmendenhall_but I dont think Fifa 16 is up and down out the box at all nor is pes for that matter sure they can be if you play that way but then the games just come down to the way you play pretty much.

When i get the full game i will be editing a couple of teams Defensive lines higher and max out compact . See if it helps at all.

Matts Video on the Pes defense is pretty spot on, thats the bigger problem in the long run not the fouls . They need to play the ball more and not mark space or the man when they usually end up doing neither.

Both games are vastly improved in my opinion and worthy of any ones money.

Im getting both for sure.
Classic case of Developer competition pushing each other and why its good.

Im playing both games on Pro and nerf my own abilities if i i feel its not fair. Ive always thought pes was best played at pro and Fifa this year as soon as you go to world class it seems it just backs of your defensive line to give the cpu more room around the box.

Going to be a good year for Footy gamers

Edit:- Fifa has loads of fouls so if anyone isnt seeing them i dunno its pretty spot on.

I'm getting at least 4 fouls from the cpu every game I play on superstar with 20 min games. One game I got 7 fouls out the cpu, and not all of them were slide tackles. I guess it all depends on how you play and what settings you play on. For those saying it's too easy to score, put the game on superstar, the speed on -1 and set everything to manual. I guarantee you will get more of a challenge.

First of all, I liked the demo but it made me feel sometimes meh about scoring, now I switched to manual shooting for a few games and although 98% of my shots ended up 5 blocks away from the stadium, when I actually connected one, wow, great feeling.
I switched to assisted 1 level for 1 game and I won easily 5-0, so I am hoping I can master manual shooting more.

Fouls, same as the demo, I really hope they fix this, it was nice to play fifa demo and actually get fouls from the AI. (set pieces suck though, esp penalties)

Gameplay, for some reason I feel it plays a little better, my players are running better in spaces, the AI is not ping pong-ing so much as the demo. However I feel they could be a bit more aggressive in the attack

Commentary is good, after hearing the same thing for 5 years anything is good, although a few more lines will hopefully be added next year as I've heard the striker's name shouted quite a few times already.

Kits: I understand people are p*ssed off about the OF, but I fixed the BPL in 35min and it was totally worth it. They looked great on the PS4 and the process was easy.

In the end, I was late for work today because I kept playing games, something that didn't happen in the demo (could be that I was just tired of the same teams, or the assisted goals didn't give me any enjoyment). Enjoying the game.

I don't know. Maybe some of these issues can be improved upon with different settings but the number of easy chances I'm seeing is reminiscent of FIFA 15 to me in that they are due to AI programming issues, issues that can't be fixed with fluid formations, different tactics, different settings, whatever. It's the same as not being able to "fix" last year's defensive issues in FIFA with sliders. Same thing.

For example, I'm creating super easy one-on-one chances by simple 1-2s, with defenders not properly tracking runs; I'm seeing CBs not properly mark attackers, allowing for too much space and easy chances; I'm conceding far too many goals because my keeper parries and a CPU attacker responds quicker than defenders in the area.

It shouldn't be up to the community to adjust the game to accommodate for its flaws, whether it's with sliders, passing settings, fluid formations, manual passing, whatever.

And by the way, FIFA plays anything but an up and down affair this year right out of the box. In the FIFA demo, I have to work for my goals. In this, it just feels all too easy to create chances.
