Because t hat is literally the worst nickname that you could give any player, probably in the history of basketball. So bad that I will literally laugh out loud when I start my mycareer, anytime they say it.

That's if your even if your adopted. For all we know, those could be "Vic's" parents or your girlfriends parents and they've just taken you in and your actual parents are never shown.

Just spitballing since I never really thought about it until people started bringing it up. Kind of have a lot of options now that I think about it. They could have your parents be in passing without lines (since they wouldn't be actual actors scanned into the game) to make up for them being changed due to your race.
