NBA 2K16 Trailer - Livin' Da Dream, A Spike Lee Joint

You guys think Big Baby came up with that himself? Durant doesn't like Slim Reaper, Wilt supposedly wasn't a fan of 'The Stilt' and The Patron Saint of Underdogs also sucks but obviously Curry didn't come up with that

But nicknames usually actually connect with something about the player or something about their game. They might not like it but it sticks because it fits.

Nothing about Frequency Vibrations connects with any aspect of my personality or game, except that Spike Lee wants it to. And I bet it's the same for 99.9% of 2K players.

I therefore dub thee Sasquatch Barbeque on OS. Because reasons.

You can look it up for yourself if you don't believe me, but one thing people here loved on the old OS about 2k was, when they were sent interview questions and it came back to the site if something wasn't there the answer was

"no"

"No, not this year"

"we didn't have enough time to get that in this time"

Wasn't what we wanted to hear but it was straight forward and respected.

I see a particular dev in here trying to be transparent and keep the level of overexpectation off of the already sky high expectation and then I see the marketing contradict that in the name of hype.

Makes zero sense. There is a time for everything, there is a time for hype but there is a time for answers as well.

So I am still confused. Can we or can't we change our nick?

I suppose that's your point. Heh. All those evasive answers makes me think no.

I hate that UK is not a college choice, but I still like the ability to play in a few college games (and HS games I assume as well). The story part sounds cool to me, and although like most of you, I chuckle a bit at the nickname...not a dealbreaker for me.

My biggest concern is I will get to the NBA and get bored after a few games so will look forward to you MyCareer veterans giving me advice on how to "keep it fresh" going forward. I also have no idea how anyone could do a whole career on this even if they played 2-3 hours a day for everyday for the next year until 2k17 So idk if some simming is in order or not. I digress. Great job by 2k!
Lol it depends on some factors are you trying to be a star, can you stand teammates not being able to play like the cpu, can you understand horrible substitution logic, can you play the entire game if you choose to play 12mins?

Geesh, some people need to ease up. Things is starting to seem kind of personal. Gonna leave that, at that. Don't wanna get banned.

Anyway, I find myself starting to narrow down my list of schools off of the rumored list.

It'd give more replay value while keeping the high school and college in, like a new game plus in other games
Yes, yes. Absolutely. Hope this is the case. I often like to start several MyCareers depending on my mood. A true PG, a scoring SG or SF, a beastly big man down low. It would certainly be nice if we could choose to skip the backstory stuff and sim until the NBA Draft.

But based on the fact that they say our choices have consequences, I'm guessing this will determine some of our attributes, badges, etc. that we start out with... or something like that. So I don't have my hopes up that we can skip the back story. I'm guessing we'll have to go through it each time we start a MyCareer.

just go in with an open mind mate, trust 2K it won't be as bad as many people are thinking it'll be now

also just wanted to add that the jersey read vibrations because you CAN name him that as you wish, for your personal player you can pick your own wanted name
