MLB 15 The Show: Diamond Dynasty Ratings Boost Predictions (9/13/15)

Another week is wrapping up in Diamond Dynasty. This week went by in standard fashion, and we got the Heavenly Hands pack on Friday. With that in mind, it's time to look ahead once again and try to predict who might be getting a ratings boost on Monday morning.

I'll be breaking the predictions into tiers based on my own confidence level.

Ratings Boost Probability: High

-Yoenis Cespedes - Cespedes was just upgraded on 8/31, but I mean how can I leave him off the list? He has nearly half his home runs the last month (15), and he's hitting everything in sight.

-J.A. Happ - This continues to be not a drill. Happ has an ERA of 1.00 the last month to go along with a strikeout per inning. He's literally been the best starting pitcher acquired at the trade deadline.

I don't care what anyone thinks. Cespedes needs to be in the 90s. He's been unreal.

Kevin Kiermaier ... Oh yeah, these guys don't care about defensive numbers. Then again he's been hitting much better over the last month.

Cubs deserve a diamond already. Make it Jake or Rizzo. Arrieta has been downright nasty this season, and even moreso since the ASB. He's going to win 20 games with a sub-2 ERA and over 210 Ks and a ~0.93 WHIP Just let him be a diamond before the season ends and people's interest in baseball completely gives way to the other games. Us Cubs fans deserve that much.

Derek Norris has become one of the best defensive C's in MLB. Love to see his ratings boosted.

Meanwhile, Colin Rea hasn't been pit on the game and has been in SD rotation for over a month. Travis Jankowski as well. Oh, and Cody Decker needs to be made now. He's got the call today.

I'd like to see Spangenberg get a deserved speed and contact boost, along with Jankowski.

Kemp has been on fire in the second half. He absolutely needs to be am all around boost. He should have a high 80' (maybe 88) rating.

Jedd Gyorko has also been impressive in the 2nd half and has been playing short stop. His power is back and pariphirals comp to his stellar rookie season.

Tyson Ross might be the most under rated SP in MLB. Slider miss rate is among MLB best and his groundball % from his 2-seam fastball is amazing. He's implimented a cutter to his arsenal that's been well documented. That needs to be added.

Solarte also deserves a major boost. He's had a very comparable year to Chase Headley and has actually had better defensive metrics at 3B this year, let alone shown more power than Headley in a much more difficult park. Cmon guys! :-)
