The goals on defense are terrible. Get an interception or force a fumble should be combined into get a takeaway. Then they have don't give up a redzone TD, so you can get beat on an 80 yard bomb and still get a confidence boost. I wish the goals were more thought out in respect to actual football tactics.

Also, seems like this is something ive not seen here either, maybe someone can answer.

1- Is these confidence making players play like they have 100 attribute ratings but not showing it , anyone seeing this on 7 or 8 minute quarters? Or is this being seen on 15 minute quarters? Maybe its partly due to length of games?

2-The LT regression issue: is this only happening in sim games due to sim stats? who has tested this in a human vs human league? Curious as there are alot of people who dont bother to play offline and only play in online leagues. Would be great to get a perspective as how this will effect those people.

And that's been the story of CFM from the jump with pretty much everything. I remember the "If Gameplay is great could you overlook what CFM lacks" thread and my answer was no then and it still is. Gameplay is absolutely fantastic. I've never had so much fun playing meaningless games in Madden. Ever. But that does only last so long. CFM is just a complete mess and has been a completely mess that just keeps getting worse.

1.-This is only my personal opinion and i donīt have any prove but to me that is exactly what is going on. On my game Tannenhill was playing like when he was 102+ Deep Acc rating. Even the UI said it was 64. I have played with other qb with 64 DTA and they overthrow deep passes often. This time he didnīt OT a single pass, at that point i just started to tested so i went deep on every down, not one single ot. smh

2.-Iīm so sad and worried about how the whole game experience is impacted by the confidence thing that i donīt even bothered to much on the LT progressin. so i canīt answer that one.

Seriously. If I wanted to play an RPG I have a plethora of options. I purchased a football game and that is just what I want, none of this other nonsense that ruins the game.

This issue is very obviously driven by the Game Prep feature assessing ratings penalties in response to CPU players giving up lots of sacks, whether they are played, simmed, or whatever.

If your OTs don't routinely give up four sacks a game in games you play, you will not see this issue happen to your team's OTs.

Just adding to the greatness of this game. I started an offline CFM and selected the Colts. I did the recommended idea and skipped the pre-season. Prior to the start of the 1st regular season game, I go in to update the depth chart. I noticed, 2015 1st Round Pick Phillip Dorsett is not there. I just assumed is was injured. I go to the injury list and he is not there. WTH. I go back to the transactions and the CPU released him. What a joke. They kept Whalen instead. What a nightmare this game has become over the years. I checked a few other teams and there are multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round draft picks from the 2015 class that were released. My goodness, EA sucks is all aspects.

Clint said on Twitter today that CFM is certainly playable. I have to disagree with him. At least for me it's not.
