I can tell you some more stuff including his conclusion from his own playing

The vid you can see was played by his ( not very experienced ) friend against the CPU Cavaliers.

- nobody knows on which difficulty the game was ( rookie or HoF? )

- CPU Teammates taking steals on their own

- Postplay is a little more difficult with a little less success

- Post Fade and Post Up an Under ist more difficult

- Big Players makes the basket easier with contact against smaller opponents

- You couldn't call Plays in the game

- You can pass the ball with x / circle / triangle ( 3 different passes )

- to call a screen you do not have to push circle anymore. You have to push L1 to start and then R1 to decide if roll or fade

- you can tell 2K to which side you want the block

- there was less fouls

- Arenas and Fans looks really amazing

Just 17 more days of waiting - Greatness is coming
Did it feel like your friend was playing in the Oracle?

They were in there. 1:10 mark of the 2nd video. Pink Diamonds galore!

I don't know if the quality of the video was playing tricks on my eyes, but in the first video, after the ball was inbounded at 1:52, it looked like LeBron skipped or did a lazy trot across mid-court. Are signature walk-ups in the game this year? I would like to have seen the user walk up the court instead of sprinting up the court every possession.

Re: NBA 2K16 Gameplay Footage Leaked

Couple things I noticed that I love

1. The AI REALLY makes you pay for poor basketball decisions, it's beautiful

2. Movement is more "fluid" and life like, could tell right off the bat.

3. The passing is much faster and much improved it seems.

4. The AI doesn't consistently just attack basket. Love the mid range pull ups and 3 point shots

5. The AI doesn't make everything it puts up, it's great seeing them miss some wide open shots.

I can't wait for this freaking game.

Re: NBA 2K16 Gameplay Footage Leaked

A couple of take-aways:
  1. Big men are not getting clogged in the transition as they did in 2K15 (+)
  2. Smll differences in presentation make 2K16 fresh yet not abruptly so (+)
  3. Off-ball movement for defense looked active and pro-active. (+)
  4. Some inbounds were still delayed by animations Same issue 2K15 had (-)
  5. Some defenders were in the paint too long w/o being called on it (-)
Other than those general impressions, I am looking forward to the release date.

Thanks to those guys who took the footage and then brought it to us.

Nobody said I didn't appreciate it lol. If you read my entire post I clearly said "it's definitely an improvement" but the sliding is still noticeable. I also didn't say "they promised to have ZERO sliding", I said I HOPED they would've completely eliminated it. Some of you dudes get so worked up anytime someone points out a flaw in 2K lol. As great as 2K is, it's not without it's flaws. Like I said the game is amazing & I only pointed it out in hopes that it can be tightened up.

Re: New Gameplay Footage from Nba 2k16

first thing i notice is that the player movement and animations overall have a "smoother" look to them (slightly less "jerkiness" when branching between motions), but the movement also seems a bit slower...although that's hard to determine until you get it into your hands.

it doesn't look like it will FEEL drastically different from 2k15, but it will look better (various movements look efficient and "contextually appropriate" for each situation like they did in 2k15, which is good...but just visually "smoother" than they were in 2k15 and with more variety). looks like it's a more polished version of what they had built in 2k15, which is good and what i would expect.

seeing more variety in the movement, like various walking dribble animations, etc.
