i started out pretty balanced on offense. after doing the run trainer i am a running fool. much more confident now. running is alot of fun.

One new thing I learned that's helped a lot is the double juke move; it works much better than the single juke to create space and is great for hitting open holes at your 9 and 3 o'clock. Works well for Kick and punt returns too.

Pretty simple to pull off, just throw R stick in one direction and immediately throw it back in the opposite direction (left, right or right, left).

This will freeze tacklers from about 5 yards out; but anything closer your RB won't have enough time to complete the move.

Another move to use when you bounce a run outside is the stiff arm. This year you can just hold the button down and your RB will attempt a stiff arm on the first contact. With decent runners you can expect an extra 3-5 yards if successful; for star RBs you can take it to the house using this.

guys

is it me or is the pre release mentioned "get Skinny" at the LOS not in the game?

dammed if i can find it amy where and my testing various bottom combinations have resulted in more than a few fumbles as my back tosses the ball over his head( so the bumper bottoms are def. not it lol)

These are two huge issues with the run game, juke moves have to be performed from too far away to be effective otherwise you will get sucked into a tackle animation which is a legacy issue that still needs to be fixed, this is also the reason more people choose to use the spin move more often, it does not cause suction tackling within close proximity for some reason. In real life backs can perform jukes within less than a yard from a defender.

And the stiff arm, having to wait for first contact for the stiff arm to trigger defeats the purpose of the stiff arm, we should be able to hold out the stiff arm whenever we want to.

The offensive line is OP online in general, the only way to stop a committed runner is to run commit, leaving yourself vulnerable to passes.
