Lol... I love the youtubers reactions. TwoBrosGaming are the only people that seem genuinely hyped.

Cash just tweeted out that he "doesn't get" the sim hype and "if I wanted to simulate basketball I would go outside and hoop"

Lmfao... I really hope this is a turning point for 2k becoming more sim. The youtubers know how to rally the troops. Even if Scott and Da Czar are adamant that they won't patch out stuff to make it easier for casual fans, I feel like at the end of the day 2k is a business. And if the bosses think patching things out will retain the casual fans (a much bigger market) then they would do it.

At least we'll have offline.

I don't doubt for a second that the devs want this game to be sim. They probably want it more than I do, or anyone else on here lol.

I'm just sceptical that a company the size of 2k would be willing to sacrifice the casual fan market (which must be the vast majority of sales for them). Just to keep the niche sim market of a few thousand (if that) happy.

I hope it all works out in the end. But I will believe it when I see it. Patch 1 will say a lot.

...on the flip side. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME ANYMORE.

Idk if this has been stated, but i've noticed that in offscreens the defensive player doesn't get an animation like the offensive player, so he is able to cut some space pursuing the offensive player

I can't believe there are 2K fans out there that are less excited because of more actual basketball.

It's a like saying if I wanted more sim in Gran Tourismo, I'd just go to my garage and drive. In that case, can I recommend Mario Kart? :P

You guys did an amazing job this year, I'm blown away
Hopefully the blitzing pick and rolls is prominent in the 2013 Heat team.

I know that this is hard to believe, but there are probably millions of 2K basketball fans that despise the idea of having to use realistic NBA basketball strategies.

I don't have a dog in the online fight, but it would a feat greater than anything they've done the game this year, if can resist the social media barrage that is forthcoming. As you and MGSW say, at the end of the day it is still a business and someone upstairs may override our peeps.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
