NBA 2K16 Video - Gameplay Enhancements

Right? I was expecting it to just finally give some guys real looking arms or something, but it has made a dramatic difference in player appearances. Players really pop out at you and I've got to say, body scanning has blown me away so far.

Man these guys know how to put out a hype video and get their fans drooling. But when they say things like the most realistic experience you will ever play just makes me cringe. This has always been a series that looks great and looks realistic but is filled with cheese, exploits, and loss of user control. I just played an online match in 15 in which I won but was outrebounded offensively 21-0. The guy was absolutely terrible once I took his 3point back and forth cheese away and just launched dumb shots up continuously. However the game accomidated him and kept him in the game by giving a totally unrealistic advantage. I even switched up line-ups and tactics because I knew his only chance was offensive rebounds to open 3's or putbacks. Despite my efforts I could not manage to stop it from happening and won the game on by a mere 4 points though shooting 25% higher from the field. The game has spawned a generation of unsim gamers because it rewards poor basketball IQ. How am I supposed to believe it will be the most realistic experience ever for a sports game when previous iterations seemed to be the least realistic. It looks realistic on the outside but I want a legit game of basketball to play not just cool animations.

Y'all know watching the video doesn't automatically sign you up to purchase the game right? ...its video touching on added features and talking about improvements for those that want to know.....

While I get what you're saying, they aren't inaccurate in making that statement because, tbh, it's true. You played a cheeser and that's what cheesers do and while I'm not giving them a pass for some of the exploits online that gamers use (there will always be exploits btw), this is still the best basketball sim experience you'll find and it plays great when playing against someone who plays with actual bball knowledge or adjust sliders to get the desired result out of the cpu.

Graphically (because you all know I'm a graphics whore), it looks like they got Giannis' new fade in!! Woooo Weeee!!!! Not hopefully They'll get Jabari's new 'do in.


That Mayo fro tho....eh...looks too frizzy and looks gray.

Lighting definitely seems to be better than 2K15. Not sure if it'll be up to 2K14's level, but we'll see when it's released.
