You are second fiddle to the marketing team. They want to make as much money as possible. Die hards buy it every year. It's the casuals they need to reach. 90% of the fan base are casual fans. That's where the money is.

But the marketing team being focused on the casual fans isn't the same as the developers being focused on that. They're probably more focused on striking a balance.

At the end of the day career mode is the most played mode. The reason for that is most players are casual fans. If 2k wants to make money, which they do because they're a business after all. Then they have to get the casual fans on board.

One thing I will acknowledge.....I like that the devs still come around, speak, and address issues when its nothing but peace n love over here or even when the territory seems "hostile and just plain trollish"......I have to say I admire you guys' Professionalism no matter the "climate" over here.

I back up my opinions with elaboration on why I see things that way, you are welcome to disagree with it. And the donkey balls stuff was put in there to get the mods attention. So I hope it worked. They seem to be oblivious to the subtle trolling by Live fans. Maybe if I bring it into the light they'll see what's actually going on.

I guarantee the majority of negative comments in this thread were made by people who align themselves more with Live. Bank on it.

Again. Nothing wrong with being the fan of the other game. Just don't let it cloud your judgement. We're all basketball fans at the end of the day. It should never be about this game or that game.
