Not at all. I just don't see the point in over analysing everything in a desperate attempt to find something, ANYTHING to criticise.

The graphics in 2k15 were awesome. The lighting could use some work. That's about it. Yes there's other areas to improve but at some point you're just nit picking and looking for stuff to complain about. There's a point where it goes from being constructive criticism to just flat out criticism. And it's at that point people start to look like spoiled little brats.

Fact of the matter is people just don't appreciate what these guys do in such a short space of time. No other developer releases a game every single year and makes the improvements 2k does. Not one. Sure as hell not EA. And outside of sports games nobody else releases every year.

If they releases a new GTA or Halo every year I bet all the world's marbles that they wouldn't innovate and improve as regularly as 2k do with these nba games.

People need to take a step back and think about this for a minute. How much do the graphics actually matter at this point? Wouldn't you rather see them make a BIG improvement every third year than small incremental improvements every year? No?

If 2k16 comes out with all these awesome game modes and the added depth and replayability of them. Then also has improved gameplay BUT looks identical to 2k15. Are you telling me it would be unplayable? That you wouldn't buy it? No.

Can the graphics improve? Yes. Will that always be the case? Yes. Does it matter? Not really. They're great already.

People are just over complicating it and getting antsy over nothing. It looks great. Could still look better. End of. Bring on the gameplay and game mode reveals.

I do think this is part of the issue. I really don't know much about the consoles but aren't they weaker than what people expected?

Bottom line is last time I checked 2k wasn't giving the game out for free on a yearly basis so if I or anyone else wants to voice their opinion, about the game that they purchased then let it be.
I already said the lighting needs to improve and was better in 2k14.

But I don't see why that's being discussed for a gazillion pages.

Person A "The lighting needs improved"
Person B "I prefer the warmer tones"
Person A " each to their own I guess"
Person B "aside from the lighting the game does seem to improve every year though right?
Person A "oh yeah definitely. There's always room for more improvement though"

End of discussion.

Now let's start talking about stuff that will actually influence how long you play the game for and how enjoyable it is... like... oh I don't know. Game modes and the depth of those modes? Gameplay and improvements needed?

Maybe it is just me. I love great looking games but at some point a game just looks great and that's that. Improvements can be made but they're not make or break.

It would be different if it was just a bad looking game but it's not. In the slightest. It looks incredible.

People have been discussing Curry's hair for 30+ pages. It must be this whole "modern man" and "metrosexual" movement like Glee and Jersey Shore and the other stuff I don't get.

It's his hair. How often are you going to look at that in the game? It seems a little off yeah and if they were to scan his head again or edit it then great. If not whatever. As a basketball fan I'm more concerned about his jump shot. **** his hair. Shave him for all I care, can he ball?

These are the graphics I dreamed of as a youngster.

Yeah but if we all thought like that (i.e., "take what they give us, don't point out things that don't look right, because I remember the days when games comprised of a single pixel"), then game designers would be doing whatever they wanted with their games with NO regard for what their consumers feel or want to see in the game. As consumers we don't make the decisions, but they do give some weight to what is being said in the gaming community. 2K Sports more than any other company (such as EA, especially in terms of Madden ) is well known for listening to customer feedback.

And, for the record, I'm no yungin', I've been playing virtual basketball games since Double Dribble, and Jordan vs. Bird

If 2K has already reached it's peak in the graphics department this early into the console cycle, then I'm a little worried lol. At least in the last gen they didn't reach it's peak until like the 4th year.

MikeGSW I understand everything you are trying to say, but I must ask you this, you said the game looks great already right? So will a few guys at OS complaining about the lighting make 2k15 or 2k16 look any different to you?? See this is what I don't understand about some of you, if someone makes a complaint about something that I like about the game it doesn't bother me you know why, because I will still enjoy it, now if we were complaining and wanted something to be removed that you like then that's another story, but people are asking for something to be added to the game and like you said it can always look better so why just settle and stay content.

Its a screenshot thread so if we were to talk gameplay we would be told to stay on the topic, so I am not understanding your points.
