Copping. The models look great. Buying 2k every year is like Buying your yearly AAA membership, gotta have it

As if there was any doubt (oh behave) Austin Powers voice)

On another note, I hate the lighting, the cool color filter and how dark it looks. Except for 3D scanning, the graphics are stagnating

I agree JBulls, but I am starting to think with all the features 2k adds to this game over the coming years the graphics will degrade even more or just stay the same as it is. Just look at 2k14 and how amazing it looked the players popped out at you but in a realistic way and the courts had polish and reflection to it, and the players sweat details were amazing even from a far, but that game was almost bare bone compared to 2k15 with all the features and modes they added, and with that we lost court reflection, players sweat is only noticeable up close, and the overall lighting got darker.

NBA 2K16 Screenshots of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan

That's one thing I definitely disagree with, NBA 2K is still a great looking game....I still lurk the photographic thread to this day....and will probably do the same in 2k16...

I'm starting to think this, too. There's no reason for NBA2K (or any game) to regress graphically unless it's a resource allocation thing. Especially now with Live graphically looking very good. I remember Madden 06 on Xbox 360 looking awesome, player models, stadiums, field degradation and all. But it was barebones. As they added modes and such, the graphic quality dipped.

For those of you talking about the lighting, I admit they have some work to do (gonna cover it in my thread), but 2k14 was off too. The thing that most are remembering was 2k14's "court shine" and the player's skin textures(which were great, skin tones not so much). The lighting had a "warmer" hue, which is a bit closer to reality, but the actual stadium lighting is the issue not necessarily the the overall palette.

For example:
Real

2k14

2k15

Most arenas lighting drops off into oblivion after about the 5th row when in reality that doesn't happen except for specific arenas like LA, NY, & BKN(whose isn't dark enough btw). Court textures were and still are not where they should be and uniform/accessory colors should have more saturation.

I have to say I do think the court looks better in 2k14. Everything else looks better in 2k15.
