The hit or miss depends on the servers. The leaderboards is cool but I rather have Team Leaderboards to show top teams not just players. If they looked into some of the trash animations that made playing in Rec wack at times and actually tryed to make it Simulation basketball it will be a success but if not and there's teams full of 3 point specialist its over. The Rec center was like an allstar weekend 3pt contest. But again if the servers are *** creating this mode was pointless.

not the mode for you then. CPU defeats the entire purpose of these modes: raw unfiltered fair organic competition (all humans). it's like having bots in call of duty online.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the original crew mode did allow for CPU controlled players right? I did play it and I'm sure that was an option... or maybe it was just when people dropped out?

Yes it did, you could start a game with min of two users.

If all of these customization options make it to the Online League it will be amazing but imagine they don't? If they are only in Pro-Am I might end up shedding a tear.

As far as what they've shown and what you can do with it I would say a big hit. There is so much of an upside to this mode and the customization I don't see how anybody can say it was a miss cause it can only get better and more detailed.

Now when NBA2k16 comes out if the servers aren't up to par at that point the execution of it will be considered a miss....to have all this and still have terrible servers would be asking for trouble, someone at 2K would need to pick up that mic LD dropped and apologize, serious damage control would be needed.

I agree this is so true. It's inexcusable to have servers as BAD as they do in this day and age. There's no other game that lags as bad as 2k does not GTA, not COD, hell even Rocket League a free game doesn't have lag.

There should be no excuses this year. Matchmaking sounds cool but how will the severs be?
