So, shouldn't we wait for the game to come out to see if there are small details that are in your favor?

Maybe not everything is public. I remember the Sim Standard saying to EA, really, you are putting that in there without anyone knowing.

So, yeah, it might be a bit premature before the game comes out.
What does a mass firing that may have not even happened have to do with these screenshots?

Personally, I want more.
I agree they should find a way for it not to cover the on field action between plays, I'm just saying I like how it's set up as far as play calling.

Not sure, I didn't bring it up.

Gotcha, does anyone have any thoughts on the 2 screenshots from yesterday with Landry and Gronk? The Gronk one again shows off how improved night lighting is this year.

Meh, doesn't look good but doesn't look bad, it just looks like madden. There are other sports games that I play and a relative will walk by and say something like oh this is a game I thought you were watching tv, this isn't the case with madden.

To me it doesn't really matter bc gameplay is the most important aspect.

I work with software daily and I know how difficult it can be making a change without affecting/breaking anything else.
I've designed and programmed software (started with simulations, compilers, debuggers, linkers) since the early 80's. Talking purely Madden, your statement is very true for the real time gameplay. Trying to achieve realistic balance is/would be very difficult. Though there is some truth to this in the franchise coding, it should be far less true in the franchise area. Franchise has far less to balance than gameplay. Really, the only things franchise would need to balance is progression/regression, smart drafting/trading/resigning by the CPU.

Ironically, it's gameplay that's making the largest advancements while (in my opinion) franchise has been severely lacking.

They look ok. Doesn't blow me away or anything. Madden always look good in screenshots, its when it starts moving that problems show up.

Re: Some New Madden NFL 16 Screenshots

I have never understood the appeal and lure of screenshots...in any game. Seeing the game in motion is what matters to me. I don't see the level of detail when I am playing the game on the field anyway, so I am not concerned in screenshots if the colors look off a tinge or if the lighting looks a bit too dark, etc.

Animations and the game in motion is what draws my attention. Screenshots may be nice to look at but personally...I am all about the way it looks when in motion.
