NBA 2K16 Has Summer League in MyGM & MyLEAGUE, MyLEAGUE Online, Team Relocation, More

Preseason and D-League would be pretty dope. I remember a few years back I was doing an Association and I found a total gem in my D-League affiliate. I saw a 7'4" big man with adecent midrange jumpshot and nice shot blocking. Played a game with him in the D-League and he dominated.

The summer league will be nice for exactly that: evaluating what you having past your known commodities. You might hop in a game and find a guy with the ratings of a bench warmer but for some reason he really jumps off the screen at you. Maybe that guy gets a roster spot and can be a role player who eventually develops into a solid starter.

It adds another layer of roster management which to me is the best part about sports games.

Also with how screwed up the default custom draft classes you can see how your rookies are going to actually play. Like did you waste your #1 pick on a big with no 3PT rating but has a 99 3PT shot tendency ie Josh Smith 2.0. or did you draft a flier in the second round that could look horrendous in ovr but is a great 3 pt shooter. That's what I will use it for. And that's why I liked the preseason feature because I could see if my offseason additions actually fit well together before the games actually mean something.

The amount of people that are complaining about these features, and making speculation on how they're implemented or how they'll work based on an achievements list is mind blowing.

From what it looks like, 2K is trying to make this version as immersive as possible on the Franchise and My career front. Other than that, I won't make any assumptions until they actually start releasing information and we see how some of this stuff works.

Am I excited for college implementation? Hell yeah I am

Both of these things get us closer to real life immersion than ever before, and people are mad because they assume no D-League will be in the game? Because some of you assume we're going to have all generic colleges? My god, I'm with 23 on this one, the sense of entitlement is absolutely pathetic here sometimes.

Let us design our arena, get funding, etc

Maybe even decrease the attendance for a team that is moving so we can know that the fans are mad.

I can't help but wonder if you choose a college and then get ruled ineligible or something; hopefully not but we'll see. Would be pretty sick if you get to actually play in college.

Also, they better have revamped the Create-A-Team with this relocation feature because their current Create-A-Team has been awful for a long time now. I have faith though. Really excited about this game.
