Huh? How is it not possible? In 2k5 you could set ALL of your custom stadium music. You could set it when you scored a TD, got a sack and other situations. That was on the original xbox. I don't see why it can't be done in Madden.

While it is not a gamebreaker, it would be cool to see that implemented again.

It's a console limitation. I don't know all of the particulars though.

The monoliths see nice too, think they need to be more head on but they look good.

Not a fan of the "beyond the broadcast" approach. The "on the field" cameras were something I always disliked about NCAA and I've never liked the way they looked. Same goes for the dynamic feedback stuff. I'll have to wait and see but as of right now I'm hoping there's a way to turn that off.
Agree with everything here.

Also I'm glad they didn't waste time with a half time show, but I just don't get why they can't include custom audio trax already.

Re: Madden NFL 16 Presentation Details

The music (or EA TRAX) sounds like it'll be implemented the same way as last year: only in the stadiums and NOT in the main menus, which would be really disappointing and not really a new feature.

I'm not sure you all understand how much time, and how difficult it would be to put all of that in you a single cycle lol.

I'm fine with what they did. I was expecting pretty much this, but was hoping with the crowd emphasis, that they'd add in real-time fan reaction and crowd noise at key points. But you can't always get what you want.

This blog keeps my excitement level at an 8/10. That normally goes up to about 9/10 when the early release is availavle, and a 35/10 when the download finishes.

You all watched the e3 gameplay, did you think they'd have an all new presentation system in the beta or final version? You thought the Alpha meant they're still holding back a lot of features?
Raise your expectations. It's 2015 man. We're getting games with procedurally generated universes for crying out loud. Madden could and should be so much further then where they are.

And yes I expect most of those. They've all been in games before. They should be in them now. And better. Yes I understand they have one dev cycle. But they've also had ten years to get a better half time show then 2k5z and they havent. They've had one then scraped it. Now another and didn't do anything to it the next year.

Even nba live had a nice ESPN package for a half time show.

"We added crowd props to the game, which include rally towels (in stadiums that feature them), fan signs and foam fingers." No, you brought them back. We use to be able to create A fan wth those props. Overall, the blog was nothing exciting imo. A lot of gameplay reveled this

With the buildup of this blog, I actually thought maybe the team had overhauled the whole presentation of Madden and did what most have been asking for years, a true representation of an actual NFL broadcast.
Instead it's fictional cameras instead of for example Sony did years ago a give stadium specific authentic camera angles.
No mention of a pregame/halftime/postgame show.
Floating stat overlays instead of just more of a representation of ones really used by the networks that broadcast the games.
In game stat ticker giving me updates of other current games happening in my franchise?
Highlights from those games. A feature Madden had over 20 years ago in the game.
Instead I'm reading about foam fingers and signs.
Look I'm happy you are excited about this game. I wish I could be too. But these features don't get me excited and makes me think I should just hang onto 15 for another year. Maybe with further blogs and videos I will go out and buy. Just disappointed.
