Yeah unfortunately NWGD has already said they don't plan to make supercard a yearly thing. So not really sure how far they are planning to go with it, but we're stuck with this one for better or worse I guess. I'd guess at least a couple more tiers coming and some new modes that hopefully don't suck like RD.

Here's my final verdict...

The game mode and gameplay itself is interesting, new, and refreshing. However, the execution is terrible. It's like nobody at CD cared to think anything except cha ching ($$$$). Need to uncover 108 shards for the 3 total cards...which I wouldn't mind if a) event lasts longer than 3 days or b) more bouts instead of the default 5.

Main gripes about this
1) How is it that those with WM+ decks and ones with the top 5-10% of deck in the ENTIRE game facing WM+ decks when we are trying to win a SURVIVOR card? How in the world does THAT even make sense????

2) AI abilities trigger about 90% of the time, for the player maybe 30% at best.

3) Why didn't they structure the gameplay so that the SV card only requires for example 12 shards, WM 24 shards, and event card 36 or a little more? Absolutely makes no sense for the deck difficulty and the number of shards to pull.

4) CD did absolutely a terrible job upfront before the event started on how the game mode works. By adding some text on tumblr and a few screenshots did NOT help at all...

5) You can't pull boosts/energies from the shards...but you can for the other game modes. What other reason than CD wanting you to purchase boosts/energies for KOTR?

Agree with you on all of that. So ****ing sick of losing because of bull****. This is more rigged than the hard rtgs were a few months back. Like the AI cheats so blatantly it's ridiculous. How is it that almost every time the one stat that can beat me is picked? Don't give me that random bull****. "Random" things don't happen 90% of the time. It's obvious their programming is set up to screw the player, making you spend more if you want to get anywhere.

**** this bull**** mode and CD can go **** themselves in a few weeks as well. Good luck getting people to play and pay for the next RD when everyone hates this awful mode. Way to introduce gameplay that's actually good, but then **** it up royally in typical CD style. Can't wait to hear the bull**** excuses from NWGD on Monday. He's a ****ing idiot and knows nothing about customer service, and he has shown time and again he doesn't give a **** about the players. What a ****ing chump, it would be a revelation if his stupid *** got fired.

Also, how funny is it that every card piece is conveniently at the end of each board? Yeah, that's not rigged at all lol.

So salty in here. Enjoying the change of pace to be honest. I played a ton of Final Fantasy games though so I'm used to this card game stuff.

I have no problem with not getting the event card though so there's no pressure.

If they increased picks per bout and tossed energy in there then it would be great.

At this rate, I think I'll be lucky to get even 1 card in this mode,even though I play so often. It takes about 30 pieces pull to get a piece of the card. Assuming you win every single game, that means around 15 wins. But with the time limit,it'd take about 3 hours to do that.

3 hours...to get 1 piece....when there's like 30+ pieces total. Sure,over time as there's less pieces,it'd be easier and easier to get a reset and all,but it'd take maybe 30 or so hours of playing, before you really have a good shot at getting stuff.

It's been a day of this mode,and I've only gotten 5 pieces of the card so far!
