Like everyone else, the game looks amazing aside from those hilariously bad scenes after a putt drops. Reminds me of the ridiculousness that was celebrations in TW PGA Tour 10....

There will be "free content updates" post launch. Sounds like they will be continually updating this game with new content over time keep it fresh rather than coming out with new installments each year. This is exciting news, I'm interested to hear more about this. I'm assuming post launch since we haven't heard anything about it yet. You would think they would want to get that kind of news out early to hype the game and boost preorders. But what do I know.

To be honest, it seems like the same engine they've had since 2009.

They can say Frostbite all they want, but other than the improved graphics, all the resources seem the exact same. Same fly overs, same animations, same camera angles, same cut scenes... Sigh.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they're using Frostbite (cause it looks improved, to be sure), but they just can't seem to shake some of the same old, same old.

You had your "to be honest", now here's mine.... To be honest, the new footage didn't show anything that frostbite shown itself in... Now if they had a ball drop (with the new options), or if they had a shot go to a different fairway (where they could play a shot without penalty), or if they had a regular round showing no load times (not just the quick holes but like the first 5 or 6 of an 18 hole round just for an example).. THEN frostbite's in action... what we saw very well could've came from the old TW engine.... (it didn't, but you get my point)... I swear people on here treat video's like words and speech.... out of context.

Exactly why the game took 2-3 year hiatus.. They were re writing the source code from scratch COMPLETELY in FB3, NONE of the old TW stuff "made the cut"... lol (it's great how many puns are useful when discussing golf)
