The defensive AI improvements will be HUGE for this game. I loved many things about FIFA 15, but the inability to remotely rely on my CPU teammates was always a big negative for me. I play on-ball D mostly anyway, but even the teammate pressure button was ineffective in my experience, as guys take bad angles and don't always come from where they should.
I'd still like to see less scripting as well. I can understand the CPU playing more aggressively when down a goal late, but to me it's ludicrous how often goals are scored in the 45th and 90th minutes, by both user and CPU, and while it may just be paranoia and sour grapes on my part, I always feel like the CPU gets the benefit of so many little bounces in those situations. Suddenly completing short, routine passes becomes difficult, fouls seem to go uncalled, and I swear the ball is just magnetized to the CPU's feet when they are in desperation mode. Am I crazy?
All in all, I'm very much looking forward to both FIFA and PES this year. They are so different from one another, I thoroughly enjoy switching back and forth for a few weeks at a time, so neither game gets old over the course of what is literally a year round season with International ball in the summer.

It's not you, it's EA programming. The same stuff happens in their NHL games.
