What's up man.

I know there needs to be more, I'm just trying to be realistic in my expectations at this point. Hopefully these suggested sliders will help the game as a solid foundation. Agree with the Synergy and how it impacts/counteracts any edits that could possibly be made with ratings/sliders. Another gimmicky feature at this point, in my opinion.

I don't mean to take away from the progress that EA has made, it just seems like the same story every year from me. Keep adding all of these things when the foundation is out of whack - frustrating!

Along with playmakers and a few other old live players I trust your judgment on the needs.. pared and a few others.

Re: NBA Live 16 Gameplay Video - Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Three things that will bug me about this video.

On Green's fast break, the CPU Defender doesn't protect the paint. Just trots off. Terrible.

CPU Kyrie has a clear lane to start something by dribbling up past the three point line when USER Curry attempts a steal and gets lost in half court. Yet CPU Kyrie just started dribbling out whatever play he had in mind. This is still an issue in today's games? The CPU needs to know how to break out of play calls and go to work if you give them the lane.

And last, the force field is still there. It's horrible. It needs to go.

But according to their blog, they promised both unparalleled control AND best-in-class animation. And also said that thousands of new animations were created using an innovative motion capture system. Again, these animations were CAPTURED, they came from human players. Isn't that what motion capture means?

Why shouldn't we expect great looking/realistic animations? Unless they were talking about the class of 2005.

NBA Live is not even close to being there yet. I honestly don't think EA understands what makes a game feel or look real. It's not the time spent in making the game from a snapshot point of view, but it's the time spent making the gameplay simulate exactly how the players move and are animated in the game.

same song different verse each year with some guys on here....

anyone that gets critical about the player movement or animations year after year will hear the same tune "We can't expect them to get it 100% right so soon"

It's a Next Gen system we should expect more from them ASAP not 4-5 years down the road...

Yeah. And I think this is about the time when it's becoming more of a current-gen systems...

I never expect miracles from NBA Live when it comes to animations. But when they are the ones saying it, I expect it to be true.

My hope is that this build is missing a lot of content, and/or they didn't want to show the real thing (saving the best for last). If this is not the case, then it's really sad.
